My partner has one of these on a 24 plate and done nearly 6500 miles in it already. MG in bristol had range topping throphy model on offer for £18,700 at the time. Adverages 60mpg all day long around town. Been a pleasure to own so far and she has absolutely no regrets buying it. Having 7 years warrenty for piece of mind motoring is definitely reassuring.
We would recommedend to anyone to buy one and definitely search around for offers as there are some great ones to be found.
Wont get a better all round car for the money.
500miles on one tank for £45 is definitely achievable.

The 7 year warranty is a little misleading, things like the infotainment system are only covered for the first 3 years, engine, gearbox, suspension etc for 3 years, the only thing that seems to be covered from year 4 onwards is anti-perforation and the high voltage battery is actually covered for 8 years & 100k miles, so I wouldn’t be crowing about a 7 year warranty giving peace of mind for a brand that seems to be unreliable, when not much is actually covered after 3 years

Spot on! I’ve recently discovered a very similar situation with the MG ZS (Petrol variant).

All European car brands are rubbish - except for Porsche's 911 model.
All European car brands are losing tremendous value as a used vehicle in the US, while in China they are being bought less (with huge discounts when buying new vehicles) and less every year. If you want to believe in fairy tales about the "superiority" of Europe and the "subhumans" from China - go ahead.
You have to understand that nothing is eternal, not human life, not one's eternal domination.

The same MG counterpart in my option already has busted DRLs when I see them on the road as their Headlights assembly units accumulate too much moist, damaging the DRL module. The local MG says it is by design like what? 😅 Added the multiple issues with steering rack and pinions I see on their facebook groups.

The average car price in the UK is £35k. So £20k is definitely cheap. Especially as most people will lease rather than buy outright. But, to be clear, a car has always been second only to a house as the most expensive purchase you are likely to make in your lifetime. With the average yearly wage in the UK being less than £32k cars have never been ACTUALLY cheap. But they can be RELATIVELY cheap. You can get four MG3s for the price of one Diesel Land Rover Sport.

14:13 i am very impressed by the cameras of the MG. I have seen cars that are almost twice as expensive have ridiculous quality cameras!

Its not a bargain, its what a small runaround car should be costing. Dacia and MG will slowly take over the European market at the entry level, who tf wants to pay £25K for a fking POLO
