Bill, I hope you see this as I owe you a Thank You. I collect replica props from various sci-fi shows and was recently re-watching Stargate: Atlantis and noticed the characters doing martial arts practice with "Bantos Rods" and thought I'd like to acquire a pair. After some internet searching I found nothing for sale. Oh well, no big deal.... Then I realized, "Hey, I can MAKE them. Bill showed me the process". I took some screenshots from the series, found pics of the real props (the site also mentioned the rods length and other general info not see in pics), wooden dowels I already had, paint I already had, bought some foam and glue. A week later, I had 2 very accurate Bantos Rods for maybe $20 in materials. Thanks to the info your videos.

I've got some projects that I've been toying with for maybe 2-3 years - But I pick them up every few months so they're never really abandoned for any length of time
About 17 years for my longest project. Was into anime garage kits back in the late 90s when I was in high school. Last kit I had was of Major Kusanagi from Ghost In The Shell. Had some issue with the primer I was using really not liking the resin she was cast with. Wasn't able to figure out a solution before I graduated HS and left for college. Rediscovered her in a box in my mom's garage when I was home for Thanksgiving about three years ago, decided to finally get her painted. Been back into hobby painting since.
Looks incredible Bill! I only just started playing Skyrim this year and it is such a rich world. Well done on the blade and I find your process and explanations in between steps captivating. Thanks again for all the great content you guys put out each month.

I just bought me some of those sweet new knives. One for cosplay, one for everything else! I can’t beat 7 years but I am still working on Kanan Jarrus Jedi armor and costume and these videos help so much. I learn something new EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Not a prop but I've been rebuilding my 66 mustang for 15 years lol. I've owned it since '98. Love your work, I'm doing a Zelda master sword and your vids helped a ton!
I have a "Mopkin" puppet that I've had since I was about 12 and I'm 38 now. I'd been intending to work on it since I got it, 26 years now, and I just now got around to disassembling and upgrading it. I cut off the head to add a neck with a different material, removed the arms and legs and re-stuffed them. Stuffed the body that was just an open sleeve, reattached the arms and legs now with hanger wire for "bones," so I could add joints, changed the shape of the hands and feet and put magnets in the feet. Also added a sleeve that goes in the back through the neck into the head. The only thing machine sewn is the shape of the sleeve, everything else is hand sewn. Right now I'm working on the eyes and adding upper eyelids. When it's done it will keep my nieces and nephew entertained, at least until they're older.
Oh wow, has it really been 7 years? Quite a nostalgic blast from the past! I actually have one of these kits that I bought from you in 2012 (according to the emails I saved), and I painted it up back then. I wish I had thought of using 5-min epoxy on the pommel since whatever my past newbie self tried did not have a nice, glassy finish like I wanted. Nothing says I can't do it now though! I want to remember you that they have a black friday sale!
Buy their books!
Oups, wrong channel!
Saying "gnarly" must be the crafting iron dagger equivalent for levelling up speech skill :D
Hah!
I have a stepping stone that I have been painting and it has been sitting for about eight or nine years it's only half finished
The longest project I've ever worked on is my life, and it's still going
Love this weapon, good job
That’s a lot of unfinished Destiny props. Also I kinda cracked up when you just placed Locke’s helmet on top of the Synth one
Yeah I've amassed quite the collection!
Omgggg I'd love to see you work on that power ranger helmet!!! That would be do fun to see :)
Yeah that'll be a fun one to paint!
I really appreciate you showing that the super glue bottle was plugged. I thought that never happened to you.
Happens all the time!
Please do the destiny thorn hand cannon, its the more brownish gray one
Ha! Very good! Very good indeed!
Full sized space marine armor from warhammer 40k. Started out the pepakura part of the build about 9 years ago. Still not finished :) Mostly because I found your channel and started using foam instead of paper and resins. Pt. building a space marine armor for my son. Just a month and a half so far.
Wow!!
1 year, for a dagger!
Nice
This looks really good
Thanks Jake!

Can you think about making Goblin Slayer Armor or maybe at least the sword and shield ?
Hi i have a suggestion for you ^^ turing a Nerf Elite Titan CS-50 Blaster into an epic prop, haven't seen anyone doing someting like that so far.
oh man i fell over laughing at that tape ant the end! well done PP team
HAHA! Thanks. =)
omg xd
27:43 Another hair... This prop seemed to be missing the necessary cat hairs to make it authentic, that wasn't one was it?
This prop turned out so good! (But what else was to be expected, honestly? ^^) Thank you for the very informative video! Also... finishing something that has been on your mind for so long is the best feeling, right? :D I will follow your example! Someday... ^^
Thanks so much for watching!
Lol I was just thinking I haven’t seen a video from you guys in weeks.
Surprise! =D
I'm wondering if there's other cheaper, more basic glues that can get the job done with the leather texture?
It looks soooooooo damn good! The texture is absolutely mindblowing once its painted
Do you mean besides FlexBond? Mod Podge would probably also work well.
That knife looks A LOT like my Wurth knife that I love.
