Hi Diane! I'm so glad you found my channel. I think one of the things we get afraid of is messing up (at least I am that way). Use some card stock or 4x4 tile (you can wipe these off easily) and you'll gain such confidence. The first dot is the hardest! Good luck to you!!! I bought this marking pencil and really like it because of the fine tip, but I noticed it doesnt come off even using a wet q-tip. I have used it twice and with both projects im going to have to paint over the lines. Did you have this problem?
Hi. I find it comes off easily but I do use a very light touch. I like the fine lines. I definitely don't paint over the lines.
I love your patterns! So beautiful. But I bought transfer paper and it is horrible. Leaves no design on painted wood circle. Will keep looking for others. Love to watch you create!!!!
Did you use the Saral transfer paper? I’ve had very good success and use it exclusively.
Love this pattern Maria!, I have a couple of questions. Do you use the ceramic pen instead of the pencil? I cant keep a sharp tip on my pencils and this pen looks like it would work so much better. And since paint is so hard to get can you tell me what other colors would be close to avocado and paprika? thank you!
Hi Mookie. The pencil I use is a ceramic lead pencil which I have found perfect since it's more like a technical pencil that you don't sharpen but use a lead. I have loved using this one - amzn.to/33XENz3 Regarding paint, you could use any green for the Avocado and various oranges for the Paprika. You're mostly looking for gradients of different greens, yellows and oranges. So if you can find lighter or darker colors that would work. You can also mix colors to get colors that are pleasing to you. ~Maria
