Relevant bonus vs X + armor piercing usually guarantees victory if the opponent doesn't have an equally good counter. Halberd Demigryphs indeed had the most favorable matchup. Meanwhile, Doom Knights performed above their role thanks to their flying unilateral charge bonus, in particular negating the Lances' only selling point. Slaanesh knights, on the other hand, were denied their Devastating Flanker buff in these head-on engagements.
Nothing against this, personally I think the only unit that should not be in this tier are the wild hunters or wild riders in general becouse they underperform all the time, my solution would be a cost reduction but even better to have stalk, so they have a better chance of attacking unprepared opponents wich would fit with the skirmish style of the Wood elves.
@@alexismartin8473 then why have bloodcrushers and stag knights which are anti infantry? Or any unit without armor piercing since the majority of cavalry at this tier are heavily armored? Also all these units are made to charge straight at the enemy and survive long enough to do damage and retreat, but the wild hunters have no armor, no shield, mediocre defense and physical resistence, they are not a glass cannon like the stags becouse they don't do much damage unless its against something that they specifically counter, wich there aren't many, and usually said units can counter them easily and skirmish cavalry or any cheap archer can decimate them in seconds, honestly for something on the same price as demigryphs, they are disapointing. But I think that the wood elves need a bit of an upgrade since they have too many weaknesses, too fragile while not as mobile as they should be and with too overpriced units, theiy should be able to spam archers, not have e units at best and still struggle to protect them.
Because when your ennemy send you bloodcrusher you are happy so see if your cav can win against them to protect your flank ???? ???????????? ???????? @@TheWoodsman308
Lack of AP on the nurgle knights, couldn't get thru the bloodcrushers' armor. Very high melee attack on the nurgle knights, especially with their charge bonus - but once charge bonus wears off, bloodcrushers were able to out-damage the nurgle knights thanks to the armor piercing on their weapon strength.
Bretonnia has the best cav in the game. No other roster in the game has cav with perfect vigor, magical attacks, armor piercing, and anti large (and blessing of the lady) (and frenzy if you’re playing as repanse). Hippogryphs are still one of the best doom stacks in the game

Feeling proud of my boys but kinda sad too that Bretonnia doesn't have top tier cav in WH3.
Bretonia has some of the best elite cavalry ingame, but not in the mid tier pricerange of 1500 gold cost ;), so dont worry
