Max0r's earlier videos aren't quite as psychotic as his new ones, but I highly recommend you watch every one of his Incorrect Summaries.
Edit: A small piece of advice, if you pause the video to talk at least go back 10 seconds when you resume, a lot of jokes and memes flew right over your head because you paused halfway through them and missed them when you resumed.

Maxor's Yakuza 0 video is what convinced me to try the series, and I was not disappointed.
EDIT: I should remember to finish a video before I comment. Ring 0 means genshin has the same privilege on your computer as the operating system. That is, total. It can use the webcam or scrape your web browser without the computer signalling an error.

You can basically expect any anticheat software to either have ring 0 permissions or to not function to prevent cheating, because cheat software will be written to have ring 0 permissions and thus can neuter the anticheat. I don't like that, but... it's the way it works. The only good news is that every single thing anticheat software does risks crashing the system, so there's some incentive for the publishers to not want to put malware in the anticheat (the makers of cheat software have their incentives in the other direction). Now, this game is being published in China, so you take some risks there... but most governments do understand the concept of "we take some risk of getting caught every time we do this, and it'll look really bad if we get caught, so the reward needs to be worth the risk". You should absolutely not run Genshin Impact on a system you're using for work. You shouldn't run ANY game on a system you're using for work.
Tbf, as a non American I've long since accepted that all my information is on the hand of at least one foreign government anyway, so what is one more.
Well we can all agree that the seizure inducing editing arc of maxor, started with the "incorrect summary of metal gear rising revengance", so anything before that is more tame.
And also this is a joke on his community that after MGR:R his editing software started to assimilating him, and all his editing comes from the nightmarish depths of his subconscious.
The line between Max0r and his editing software blurred that time.
What’s even more crazy is outside of the craziest videos, he is just a normal man.
MGR:R definitely could have that affect on someone, iirc it's still like the only video where he had to specify between real and fake dialogue.
I do think that Ultrakill also resembles a small shift in his editing, with a lot more screen-wide color shifts and pop-ups and such. Which, similar to MGR:R, makes sense based on the game. Ultrakill is super fast paced, meaning he had to edit in some other way than just making the game look more dynamic (which admittedly he did, just not to the same degree as other videos).

The Elden Rings were uploaded post MGR videos,so they are very crazy.
To summarize the anti-cheat thing: Ring Zero permissions means that while it is running, Genshin Impact is the god of your computer and can potentially stop or start any commands from its software or firmware. It is the Chinese Surveillance State with gacha.
There's something about the fact that I can effortlessly keep up with Max0r that makes me concerned about what's happening in my head, i don't blame both of yall from pausing as often as you have, it must feel kind of exhausting no doubt. Great vid tho!
Especially since they miss a lot of dialogue in the seconds they talk before pausing. They should at least roll back the video 5-10 seconds every pause.
It's normal really, if you know what he is talking about, the speed doesn't matter. Context is the most important thing to help you brain process things

Little criticism, you should should rewind a little after you pause to go on tangents especially with Max's videos. It would help with the bit of lag between you and your friend.
As for Max's videos, everyone will probably suggest metal gear rising or elden ring. Honestly I think starting from his earliest is probably the best way to watch his catalog. His summery videos have an evolution to them and he tends to get better while becoming more batshit with his editing with every new video.
IMO its best to stick to max0r videos of games that you have already played and are familiar with since they're usually packed full of references and in-jokes
Finally got Alicia to react to this! Only took like a year... but hey, here we are. While the vid itself may need an update, the overall premise is still accurate. Max0r did a fantastic job with this and all his other vids are as chaotic.

Yup, you are correct, this video was made before the Dainslief update. But, Max0r still plays genshin I believe, I remember seeing him rage over trying to get Nahida.
Also you need to do Genshin livestreams, I recently started Genshin myself just a few months ago, being (annoyingly) lucky according to my friends.

I've gotten into so many games because of Max0r and I've loved every single one
Two of Max0r's least recent but most prominent incorrect summaries are of Elden Ring and Metal Gear Rising. Both started hyper utilizing his trend of sampling gacha music for hype moments which got a lot of people introduced to Solar Sea and Girls Frontline from his Elden Ring Summary and the finale of fighting fifty story gigachad granddad on hospice.
And of course if you're familiar at all with the meme "My source is that I made it the fuck up!" That comes from his Metal Gear Riaing review which also brought yet another revival surge of ensuring that game never dies because it's so amazing even Honkai had to make a rendition of blade mode in some regard with Mei's final transformation, probably just because her name is Raiden too.
The dog shooting thing is NOT a Jojo reference. It's in reference to the US ATF (alcohol, tobacco, and firearms agency) constantly killing dogs during raids.

The only money I ever spent on Genshin was paying a chinese dude in New York $5 to give me a stacked account with any 5 characters of my choosing. Just make sure you are buying a region correct account, EU accounts don't work in NA.
The joke that Maxwell has about killing the dog is usually from what I understand more of a reference to the ATF. Because the ATF has a bad habit and a bad track record for every time they raid a house. They shoot the dog. They also have a bad habit of raiding houses that did absolutely nothing wrong on a suspicion. Or telling people that what they are doing is OK and then a few months later changing the rules and then coming back and raiding the house.
Ring 0 Kernel essentially boots alongside or before your operating system, so essentially it is all powerful in your computer the second you download it.
