Had to hop on Spotify after watching this video. Only 54k listeners per month. A voice like this should be heard by the masses. Already halfway through storm queen. Her voice is haunting and beautiful. Thank you kexp.
Whoa. This is like an asteroid hurtling thru space and slamming into the earth with all its power and perfect destruction. Beautiful chaos. Beautiful music.
A strange combination of sounds, like a Sixties psych band fronted by a traditional Appalachian folk singer. If someone played it for me and told me that it came out of 1967 San Francisco, I'd have no reason to disbelieve them. The only anachronism is that it's a little too tight and focused for '67; it finishes up and doesn't turn into an endless jam. And that could have just been having a producer who knew his stuff.
@@trexinvert It doesn't really throw me, but it's like Love's "Forever Changes" album, where the focus was on the songwriting and not on endless drugged-out noodling.

So amazing to see her on here. Most underrated artist out there right now. Ramona is my album of the year so far
Been addicted to this song since I heard this the other day. Definitely want to see her when they come back to the US
Amazing. Bought tickets from hearing this. Fremantle! See you there!
WOW! She has a potent voice along with a tight band. 🎸😎

I can't quite figure out the vocal style. At 2:17, she's finally lost it.😮
Morbious on base... interesting.
Not a voice I expected..
Fuck yeah! 🎉😎🎉🎸
