Tuvar Dal - 1/3 cup
Pani - ½ cup
Masala - Oil - 1 tbsp
Methi - ½ tsp
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
Rice - ½ tbsp
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
½ tbsp Chana Dal
Cloves - 2
Green Cardamom - 1
Hing - ¼ tsp
Ginger Garlic - 5-6 + ½ inch
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Red Chili - 10-12
Haldi - ½ tsp
Kashmiri Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tbsp
Pyaaz / Onion - 1 big (sliced)
Salt - 1 tsp
Pani - grind karne ke liye

Hari Mirch - 2
Lauki, Mooli, Tamatar - aapke hisab se
Namak - ½ tsp
Imli - 2-3 tbsp
Gud - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Lal Mirch - 3-4
Hing - ¼ tsp
Curry Leaves - 4-5

It's a no fail recipe....Thank u yaman, I tried it, and it turned superb, Usually, I use to have ready sambhar masala everytime I have to cook sambhar, because I mess it up the first time I made it without masala..
But this is colorful and flavorful too.

I live in California USA 🇺🇸 sometime I crave for dosa n sambar... but i have to drive 2:30 hour for having it .... and it is not really according to my taste ... I’ve learned sambar from another channel first and it was of same taste like urd dal (pili dal) which I am not fan of .... but your recipe made my life ... I tried it yesterday and it’s very delicious and easy .

My recipe turned out to be EXTREMELY spicy so much so that I couldn't eat it. I did make the sambar masala in larger quantity, might have added too much spice. Is there a way to neutralise it?
Add one more cup of boiled Toor/ Arhar daal.
