Not Sure why that 5 Fly-overs required, there is no city/village/junctions/crowded area in that places but they make it flyover. If require the road shoud expand and make it roundana like.Not only this road ,Karur and salem also. there is no traiffice but they simple make it fly-over.

1: suggestion: put barricades 500 mts before speed breaker
2: this type of road hump is dangerous on the highway but helpful in railway crossings as every one is aware of it
3: when construction is in progress at least side ways is to be tarred
4: sign boards of construction activity one km before shall be displayed so that driver will manage the speed

It is highway mistake. The speed breaker what they did is not good. Many car and lorry suspensions are going faulty. Take action against highway.

it is very very unfortunate that in Tamil Nadu, there are no sign boards that indicates a speed breaker or barricades having kept ahead. None of the places there are boards. But the Highest officer of the state police say that we should wear seat belts and helmets! What a huge joker he is? This week middle, I was travelling from Pondicherry to Chennai. near kiliyanur, there was a check post made for excise department. There were so mant barricades criss cross and on the middle of the road with no sign boards ahead! What would have happenned if I had not stopped but for all my driving skills! will the chief of police will answer my call??? Shame on him.

Left lane : Heavy vehicles & Two wheelers.
Right lane : Cars .
Slow moving cargo will travel in left lane and fast moving cars on right lane. If strictly enforced the accidents like this will be down by 70%.

1. If speed breakers are there, warning board must be there which must be visible for atleast 500mts.
2. I urge the lorry owners to dispose off the old trucks and buy new trucks with advanced safety features and train the drivers according.
3. No Neutral in down slope.
4. No two wheelers should cross the highway in between.
5. From the accident stop, there is a bridge. Take left down the bridge and take a U Turn or where U turn is there use it carefully.
6. I see many local 2 wheelers crossing the main road or coming in wrong out suddenly. Police must take strict action immediately. Because car owners pay heavy tolls not local guys
Both central and state government is keen on collecting huge crores of toll fees every day but least bother about people safety. No emergency ambulance in toll gates, no rest rooms, no proper roads, Safety indication/signals etc.

Qualification for Highway engineer is to possess commercial driving licence with at least with 2 year experience. Without first hand experience in driving, highway engineer, official or travel personnel is not fit for the job.
I travel in this route monthly twice or thrice from bangalore to Krishnagiri. This accident is caused because of the speed breakers that were built recently on the highway which creates distraction to the new riders on this route and they apply break suddenly because of that. I don't understand why the government is constructing speed breakers on the highways. At junctions it's fine. But not on a full stretch. This is caused due to to highway department and the officials involved in this speed breaker design and idea. I don't know who recommended this idea, it is a worst idea. Don't you guys (officials involved) have families. When you guys travel you will know what foolish idea you have done. Shame on you guys.
