Thank you very much! And yeah the contrast is nice indeed, though of course with textured mode the Vivo also has more contrast, but more saturated colours
Thank you Mate! Very good content as always... I think I'll wait for the OP13 with OxygenOS...it's hard to choose...or the Xiaomi 15 pro? Or Vivo X200 pro?....
man it's very hard to choice, for the new Xiaomi and Vivo no clue honestly at the moment, heard amazing things about the X200 pro and it's zoom. for the OP13 ordered, but waiting hahaha
Highly contested match here but I'll give the slight edge to Vivo for being able to shoot 4k120 from the main and telephoto lens as well as being able to change parameters such as sharpening in the camera app. Oppo did a darn good job too though.
yeah Oppo has done a very good job! I would say with the main sensor and ultra wide comparable, just periscope and video recording not as in frames per second. But sadly because of the limited use I cannot showcase them together in video. Still 1 man hahaha
With regards to the video, do you notice a difference between the 4k 60 and 4k120 with the naked eye, or is it a matter of post production stuff? Never had 4K 120 so I was wondering if there's a huge difference.
@@vad8712 oh no you don't honestly! It just allows you to slow it down x4 and still have 30fps :) Where with 60fps you can only do a slow down of x2 to have 30fps.
@@ThroughJermainesLens yep what Jermaine said! I tried it out on the S24 Ultra and it just looks ultra silky smooth but the post production workflow is where it gives you more flexibility.
Ty for the video as usual! 🙏 Nice contrast on the Oppo, maybe the colors are a bit too saturated in some cases imo but i cant stand that painting effect...it reminds me of Samsung (a lot less tho)
no problem!!! And yeah agreed, that painting effect really needs to be adjusted! Hopefully some updates will fix it, but seeing how it's getting close to a year old I doubt it honestly.
Love the video quality on the OPPO and the function that allows one to use the "object tracking" whilst recording videos, even though it is limited to 30fps it still does a really good job and great picture quality. My biggest let down on the Oppo Find X7 Ultra is that when it's complete dark outside and I try to take pictures of the stars ( and the recent comet that also was visible on the skies here) the Oppo isn't able to get a totally crisp picture if using the "Night Mode" 10 sec timer, because the laser focus can't find any points to focus on, so it will make the pictures become blurry. So for anyone using the Oppo Find X7 Ultra to take Night/Astrophotography pictures, use the Master Pro mode, and set the camera manually, set focus to one digit below the max, or download/use the Gcam APK, as well as using a tripod, that will give some amazing pictures, similar to using a DSLR camera.
Sadly I have had it for a very limited time to really dive deep deep into it. Low light though with normal low light mode I did notice it can create a decent amount of noise and or softening.
I am surprised by this comparison, it looks swapped to what I've seen so far on TH-cam. Anyway, if you have Oppo Find x7 Pro you need to use hi-res mode when in good light, it's really superior to regular auto mode, and I use it much more on my Find x7 pro when trying to take a "nice" picture. It doesn't work well with scenes where HDR is needed though. Also I recommend master mode for some moody and gloomy pictures, for example late evening, foggy weather
Watching on a 4 year old Oppo screen, i prefer the way the Vivo keeps details in the shadows. I don't always want pitch black shadows and trees when it's sunny
The level of detail observation noted captured in these photographs is truly remarkable. The Oppo device, in particular, exceeded my expectations. While I appreciate the Vivo's capabilities, I find that the over-saturation of yellows and greens detracts from the overall image quality.
Fair comment ^^ And of course thank you! I think for me main sensor and ultra wide really comes down to what you like as style where with the zoom it's simply vivo. Of course if you want more contrast you can by adjusting settings that are so damn nice, or simply go into textured mode :)
@ThroughJermainesLens Thank you for your valuable insights. While I do enjoy the creative process of adjusting photo settings, I sometimes find it a bit overwhelming to have to constantly tinker. You'll never see me purchasing an iPhone, though, haha. I truly appreciate the time and effort you have put into sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. Your guidance on different lenses has been particularly enlightening bc I don't always consider them. 6:24 no Jermaine I disagree with you on this that the oppo was better. Its a sunny day but here the oppo made this shot cool like its a cool evening. The Vivo made it look real
¡No te equivocas! Puedes argumentar preferencia ^^

@@willzdemy No problem man :) And I got it from Vivo Media contact lucky enough. On my channel i wouldn't make enough to be able to afford that hahahaha
I watched the whole video without audio due to the lack of speakers on my PC, and in my opinion, being direct, the Oppo was better, mainly because of the contrast (which is something that captivates me in photography) and the sharpness (without exaggerating). The Vivo was only really better at 2x zoom, and the Oppo wasn't even close... I think there's a flaw in the algorithm at 2x zoom, which doesn't properly crop the central portion of the sensor, and I say that because in the main camera's high-resolution mode, the Oppo is better... so when cropping the central part of the photo at high resolution, it should be better. Unfortunately, there were no tests above 10x zoom, where the Oppo would once again show its superiority. When activating the captions, I was shocked that our esteemed and respected reviewer didn't mention or emphasize the Vivo's magenta tones in several and several photos, but highlighted less relevant things from the Oppo, but in a negative way, especially in zoom. I conclude by congratulating you on an excellent comparison!
Too much zoom ruins every smartphone photo.. I do not undestand what is this zoom fetish of people? any zoom exceeding 10x start oil painting results. Even Oppo's 6x telephoto is somewhat mediocre due to small aperture. Vivo has magenta hue, Oppo has yellow.. As Jermaine mentiones, main and UW are comparable.. but zoom and even macro capability of Vivo is unmatched. Moreover, you can fine tune the preferences before taking the shot without going into the Pro mode. That's another win of Vivo.
