OUTSTANDING.
Cosmic, Bossanova, Jazz fusion vibes. 'Fufu' is my fav...sounds so sophisticated. Donald Byrd was a genius & all of his albums are well worth listening to especially the 70s stuff. 'Black Bryd' & 'Street Lady' are 2 classics....
First jazz album I ever bought. My favorite to this day.
When did you buy it ?
Recently Toshiko Akiyoshi talks about Lew Tabackin," When I listened to Lew's flute firstly his sound was amazing to me so much". As she praises him , New Jazz scene was happened at this Albam's time surely.

I am very impressed, nice collection also.
What a PHENOMENAL extensive album archive!😲
I'm like SPEECHLESS!
una bomba!!!
... super!
love it!!
Bravo!!!
During '68-'69, numerous jazz artists (e.g. Blue Mitchell, Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard et al) shifted their rhythmic interplay toward the tighter R&B and away from the looser post-bop. The LP is surely good, but I prefer what he was creating in the late '50s / early '60s.
Thanks for sharing. (Please cease those awful, annoying commercials that spring up out of nowhere and ruin the mood Byrd was building...)
G'day from Australia, top Jazz I reckon.
Peace, from the library.
Much Gratitude.
