I feel like this was created by a man who had no ego. someone who genuinely wanted to serve others and bring them to a state of calmness through his art. Listening to this album felt like the artist made it specifically for me. He wasnt trying to impress with his technical skill (even though its obviously there) rather he used his ability to serve the purpose of making something extremely enjoyable to the listener. this album is like hiking up a mountain on a chilly autumn morning, dew drops dripping down every blade of grass, with your best fried by your side. no words need to be spoken. just the pure peace and refreshing air of the outdoors. marveling at the perfect balance of it all. it can be easy to forget where we all started: wild, free, angry, vicious. but also serene, happy, balanced, content. the amazing part of nature is the duality and the amazing impact it has on every living thing. i hope you find it too, friend.
ya sometimes the numbers crunch in a good way. was recommended for me today. The sky is perfect puffy clouds, bright sun and strong breeze. The trees are in movement and i am sitting at my window enjoying this. Ta-da!
The only drawback is I wish they would bring the vocals up front just a bit . They barely register. Also the tubular bells have an echo that isn't compatible with sax. Why people feel a need to cram the hard edged horn in this gentle whisper almost ruins it. The upper ringing tones could drop out as they are too monotonous. ( Who is this person dissecting like a cadaver in the tundra)

All, I had the pleasure of listening to this whilst driving home from the lake district (UK). I needed to escape 'the Grey' city life and spend some time with nature again. Its quite clear that an uncluttered mind made this album and I felt sense of peace I haven't for some time, to those of you that don't appreciate this kind of thing, just give it a chance. We're all so eager to judge and not so eager to accept. This came out in 1993 and sounds like it's not due to be released until 2023. Way ahead of its time!

Illustration, music, sounds, the title: everything is wonderful. But does anyone else think that all of this has even more value and more beauty, knowing that it was created 30 years ago and not now? Does anyone else think like me?
I think so too. Personally, I think I feel that way because its timelessness detaches me from the 'now' even more. The sounds here are the same --and just as effective-- as they were three decades ago. Somehow, the fact that it withstands the test of time adds even more magic to the peaceful forests and spring rains I'm transported to whenever I listen to this. Just my two cents.
What's so interesting to me is how it's so clearly needed now; people are latching on. We're fighting through the nihilism and cynicism of the past century and rediscovering meaning.
I've been under constant anxiety since I lost my job back in March and the beginning of university but now... I feel like I'm in a kind of mental shelter outside time and space, just for an hour while listening to this. I am now making inner peace at last. This is better than therapy and I didn't ask TH-cam for this blessing since the algorithm found it. Honestly, I just want to thank life right now.
I was feeling anxious this morning and I started playing this as I was doing my homework and didn't realize it at first but this beautiful music helped calmed my nerves and grounded me. Judging from the listener comments I get the feeling that a lot of us, including me, aren't exactly "new age" fans, or fans of the "new age-y" sounding "new age" that was so prevalent in the 80's/90's. This music expertly transcends that and seems to these ears to be more serious and thoughtful and more aligned with artists like Vangelis and/or Roedelius. That is to say, there is an element of sophistication and experimentation in the sounds, rhythms and textures. Personally I can't get enough of it and am thrilled to have discovered this so late in my musical life. Many thanks, to say the least, for sharing!
Moments before listening to this album my mind was going through another bout of anxiety, I was on the verge of tears creating scenarios in my head about how other people think of me. I don't know what happened, but hearing this made me realise I do just need to let go and not let these things concern me so much.
Finding this gem post surgery. Im laid out in my brothers bed for the next month, and i only have time and this music to reflect. I am not a religious man, but i wish with my being to be a man of good morals and better than who i was previously. oh my what a wonderful album... that tunder and rain take me back to my childhood when on hot summer days sudden rain would cool the air, we'd sit on the porch of our little summer house, playing cards, waiting for rain to pass.. and then once the sky clears run to the lake and swim in the warmest water ever... such a joy and peaceful state of mind. Just took my morning shower while listening to this for the first time and I have this feeling that today will have no evil within it. I hope the same for this comment section.
I played this, no idea what it was. I got goosebumps all over my body, like I saw something magical happens, and my eyes started watering. I feel relieved.
When I close my eyes listening to this music I see landscapes I never saw in real life, unknown places hidden behind the corner of a street, places far away from cities where the sunshine rays shimmer on the rivers like millions of diamonds. I see old houses cramped along the paved roads with noisy air condition units, children jumping in puddles in poorly maintained parks. This music is absolutely beautiful.
I forgot i used to listen to this a lot. Stumbled upon this again today, and it's not fixing everything. But it is making everything a little slower and easier to bear. So grateful to come across it after an unbearably long time doomscrolling. I can't seem to stop myself 😭, and this little break is such a huge relief.

For the hour of listening to this my cat came in and out of my room, Id stop to watch her just frolic about or do nothing. ery calming, the cutesy sounding melodies really accompanied my cats movements and nature. beautiful
True but believe it or not some of them love a song from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon called COLORS ... years ago when our cat was laying there on the floor with us listening to it we saw a small green sphere directly above her head ..it looked solid and was the healthy vivid beautiful shade of green it ...was not just an orb and it was about the size of her head... she was laying there listening to the song and purring . We could tell she was really loving that song

This reminds me of that moment in time and space I didn't exist yet, but I didn't know that. The sound of non-existence culminating in my existence facilitated by the memories of this music in fractals and black holes of the Universe. Wait a minute... my life is a memory? Where am I? What time is it? Where is that running water coming from?
The spacial audio really got me at 18:32. I thought there was gonna be a big storm outside. Had to take my headphones off to realize it was in the track.
I searched for "Japanese instrumental chill, -lofi" and had to click on results page 8 or 9 to get this far, and fortunately clicked on this otherworldly majestic album. TH-cam spews mainstream "lofi" results in its first pages, I learned to dig a little to get good stuff.
I was listening to this in whole only to pause it for a moment and be violently pulled form a world that I had been gently and unknowingly placed in. This album creates a world that completely removes you from where you are in reality. It feels and sounds like a musical surrealist painting. Love love love!
Yes I experience this type mood often . Just shut off the TV unless it's a music channel with something like this , shut off your phone or at least mute it and get away from Facebook , Instagram and all that nonsense . Have respect for nature and quiet ... the wind and the water and simply allow the universe to speak to you . Even just five or ten minutes a day walk in the woods , trees , or around water etc .can make a massive difference . Don't expect others to give you peace of mind you have to get it for yourself..create it . Even if you live in an apartment you can achieve this if you have a nice view of trees and sky or greenery and sky and have one spot that is your place of sanity... you can sit there and experience this ; you will have a sense of the sacred and feel centered and whole . It's a bit harder if you don't have control over your environment if you have a lot of people around you constantly watching TV , blasting music and if you can't have peace when you want it . I wish all beings everywhere to be able to have this kind of peace and peace of mind because everyone deserves it

I feel like this was created by a man who had no ego. someone who genuinely wanted to serve others and bring them to a state of calmness through his art. Listening to this album felt like the artist made it specifically for me. He wasnt trying to impress with his technical skill (even though its obviously there) rather he used his ability to serve the purpose of making something extremely enjoyable to the listener. I aspire to create something like this one day.

The only drawback is I wish they would bring the vocals up front just a bit . They barely register. Also the tubular bells have an echo that isn't compatible with sax. Why people feel a need to cram the hard edged horn in this gentle whisper almost ruins it. The upper ringing tones could drop out as they are too monotonous. ( Who is this person dissecting like a cadaver in the tundra)

All, I had the pleasure of listening to this whilst driving home from the lake district (UK). I needed to escape 'the Grey' city life and spend some time with nature again. Its quite clear that an uncluttered mind made this album and I felt sense of peace I haven't for some time, to those of you that don't appreciate this kind of thing, just give it a chance. We're all so eager to judge and not so eager to accept. This came out in 1993 and sounds like it's not due to be released until 2023. Way ahead of its time!

Illustration, music, sounds, the title: everything is wonderful. But does anyone else think that all of this has even more value and more beauty, knowing that it was created 30 years ago and not now? Does anyone else think like me?
I think so too. Personally, I think I feel that way because its timelessness detaches me from the 'now' even more. The sounds here are the same --and just as effective-- as they were three decades ago. Somehow, the fact that it withstands the test of time adds even more magic to the peaceful forests and spring rains I'm transported to whenever I listen to this. Just my two cents.
What's so interesting to me is how it's so clearly needed now; people are latching on. We're fighting through the nihilism and cynicism of the past century and rediscovering meaning.
I've been under constant anxiety since I lost my job back in March and the beginning of university but now... I feel like I'm in a kind of mental shelter outside time and space, just for an hour while listening to this. I am now making inner peace at last. This is better than therapy and I didn't ask TH-cam for this blessing since the algorithm found it. Honestly, I just want to thank life right now.
I was feeling anxious this morning and I started playing this as I was doing my homework and didn't realize it at first but this beautiful music helped calmed my nerves and grounded me. Judging from the listener comments I get the feeling that a lot of us, including me, aren't exactly "new age" fans, or fans of the "new age-y" sounding "new age" that was so prevalent in the 80's/90's. This music expertly transcends that and seems to these ears to be more serious and thoughtful and more aligned with artists like Vangelis and/or Roedelius. That is to say, there is an element of sophistication and experimentation in the sounds, rhythms and textures. Personally I can't get enough of it and am thrilled to have discovered this so late in my musical life. Many thanks, to say the least, for sharing!

Moments before listening to this album my mind was going through another bout of anxiety, I was on the verge of tears creating scenarios in my head about how other people think of me. I don't know what happened, but hearing this made me realise I do just need to let go and not let these things concern me so much.

Finding this gem post surgery. Im laid out in my brothers bed for the next month, and i only have time and this music to reflect. I am not a religious man, but i wish with my being to be a man of good morals and better than who i was previously. With the reintroduction to this great album, i put aside all my hatred from the past decade, with the hope i can make a decade in love moving forward and beyond..

oh my what a wonderful album... that tunder and rain take me back to my childhood when on hot summer days sudden rain would cool the air, we'd sit on the porch of our little summer house, playing cards, waiting for rain to pass.. and then once the sky clears run to the lake and swim in the warmest water ever... such a joy and peaceful state of mind. This music makes me appreciate nature a lot more...

I found the best music for my cat. She loves it and so do I.

True but believe it or not some of them love a song from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon called COLORS ... years ago when our cat was laying there on the floor with us listening to it we saw a small green sphere directly above her head ..it looked solid and was the healthy vivid beautiful shade of green it ...was not just an orb and it was about the size of her head... she was laying there listening to the song and purring . We could tell she was really loving that song

This reminds me of that moment in time and space I didn't exist yet, but I didn't know that. The sound of non-existence culminating in my existence facilitated by the memories of this music in fractals and black holes of the Universe. Wait a minute... my life is a memory? Where am I? What time is it? Where is that running water coming from?
The spacial audio really got me at 18:32. I thought there was gonna be a big storm outside. Had to take my headphones off to realize it was in the track.

I searched for "Japanese instrumental chill, -lofi" and had to click on results page 8 or 9 to get this far, and fortunately clicked on this otherworldly majestic album.
TH-cam spews mainstream "lofi" results in its first pages, I learned to dig a little to get good stuff.
I was listening to this in whole only to pause it for a moment and be violently pulled form a world that I had been gently and unknowingly placed in. This album creates a world that completely removes you from where you are in reality. It feels and sounds like a musical surrealist painting. Love love love!

Yes I experience this type mood often . Just shut off the TV unless it's a music channel with something like this , shut off your phone or at least mute it and get away from Facebook , Instagram and all that nonsense . Have respect for nature and quiet ... the wind and the water and simply allow the universe to speak to you .
Even just five or ten minutes a day walk in the woods , trees , or around water etc .can make a massive difference .
Don't expect others to give you peace of mind you have to get it for yourself..create it .
Even if you live in an apartment you can achieve this if you have a nice view of trees and sky or greenery and sky and have one spot that is your place of sanity... you can sit there and experience this ; you will have a sense of the sacred and feel centered and whole .
It's a bit harder if you don't have control over your environment if you have a lot of people around you constantly watching TV , blasting music and if you can't have peace when you want it .
I wish all beings everywhere to be able to have this kind of peace and peace of mind because everyone deserves it
