Funny story: i NEVER DECLUTTER. I usually use it as a house spray, an after poop spray, take it to spray for work (CNA WORK😂), and if it's something i just cant stomach the smell of, i will give to neice or sell on mercari but more often than not i will use as air freshener or just use it in place of febreze on furniture and things around the house❤❤

Khamra is my November scent. It reminds me of thanksgiving,
khamrah is amazing but I don't feel like wearing it. It's a beautiful scent but I just don't want to smell like that. Hard to describe it but I know a lot of people feel the same
I have it on right now but I prefer Khamrah Qahwa. It's a bit spicier with a warmer base. It's my #1 fav.
It isn't for everyone but my family has roots in SE Asia and the ME so heavier, rich fragrances are what I grew up with. Khamrah and a lot of Ouds, Ambers and Musks are like a warm hug to me.
Fragrance is so personal and individual, you know?
I feel the same too, I think it will be a wonderful candle scent but I find it too much to wear.

I sold the original Khamrah because I had Khamrah Qawah too and I thought they were similar enough, but I regret selling it and I plan to buy it again.
Nothing worse than when you love the scent of a perfume on paper and on the atomizer, but can't stand it on yourself!!

No, I love it so much! The Quwah version is my absolute favorite and I don't think it's too sweet at all.
It's funny because I think the sweetness is just right but something like Mugler's Alien, a very sweet white floral, is much too sweet for me. I think it's the white florals that don't blend well with my skin.

I love Khamarah and wore it all last fall/winter but it is much too sweet. I don’t know if I will be able to wear it again. Honestly, I wish the trend of intensely sweet fragrances would soon be over. However, I think we will be seeing it hanging around for a while. I am happy with the popularity of cherry notes. I love cherry, I especially enjoy cherry when it has a nice woody/musky/smokey dry down.

I’ve had similar experiences with other fragrance profiles and what I’m finding is that sometimes when I buy the travel spray, it is more than enough to last me a couple of seasons and I find that when I really sit down and think about what perfumes I want full bottles of. I’m starting to realize that I only have a handful to be honest and those are the fragrances that empty pretty quickly as an example. I’m on my third bottle of Chloe and I’m about to finish another 13 and I know for a fact I definitely want to purchase.
The woody aspect in fragrances really comes through on my skin, as well. Glad I'm not the only one!
This fall if I don't enjoy Casablanca, Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose or Philosopy Fresh Cream, Warm Cashmere they will be the next to go.
I used up cloud layering it with everything and using it as a bed spray, lol. It layers good with freshies for summer

I had it , finished it , bought a tester of Khamrah Qahwa, liked it too, and have another full bottle very similar called Sharaf Blend Zimaya.

I have fragrances I love to smell on the atomizer, but just don't wear them. Sometimes they are cloying or just something I personally don't want to smell like. I have started decluttering those I like to smell but not wear.
I seriously struggle with Versace Crystal Noir. It's such an odd fragrance. I just find the gardenia mixed with coconut really bizarre and almost headache inducing. I often wonder if they had used something like Jasmine instead, how different it would be.
I’ll be decluttering mine, I couldn’t enjoy it unfortunately.
Maybe just keep a decant of Khamrah?
Khamrah is pretty incredible but, it's honestly not my kind of scent profile. I like it, but it's never been a love.

Khamrah and Khamrah Qawha are lovely on my skin. Qawha is slightly warmer and spicier. They both smell light a sweet musk with my chemistry. I regularly spray both on my sheets or pillows. I honestly can't get enough of them.
Khamrah is amazing i love it. But wear it during the cold months 🥶

Speaking of metallics: TomFord Metallique is heaven, very subtle. There’s a dupe called Metallico that’s equally as subtle. I love it!

I haven't tried Khamrah but I've recently bought Khamrah Quahwa and i smell roasted coffee, sugar and chocolate. Think it's going to be my favorite for Fall and Winter ☕🍫🤎

Hi wow you are brave all your declutters are so nice I’m a low key perfume hoarder aka collector only reason I get rid of a fragrance is when the bottle is finished or if I gift it to someone who really wants it I think I have only sold 3 of my perfumes so far and those were gifted and not my style 😂 it’s so hard for me to let them go anyone else struggle with this? 😅
You must love most of your perfumes, I just found myself buying too many and not getting what everyone is raving about, my expectations were high and most of them aren’t that good in my opinion.

I feel the same about khamrah. I plan to put it away for a year or two and revisit. I do that with fragrances I'm on the fence about. Usually I rediscover my love for them later. Absence can make the heart grow fonder.

I hope you keep Versace Cristal Noir bc it's so sexy and comforting but I find the new Monler pour femme Sunrise to have a similar cosy feel, people say it's similar to Guidance (which I haven't tried) but to me it brings up Versace vibe. I decluttered Cloud and only kept the Intense version. Also decluttered Zen, Amber Oud gold, Amethyst. I still have Versense and Khamrah.
Same as @Sniffy0727, I too never declutter. I keep some in my bathroom to spray my bath towels, some in my shoebox to spray inside shoes, some in drawers to spray socks, and some near potpourri to spray as a room freshener (Khamrah), etc. Teaches me a lesson to not purchase blindly as in fact those that I wouldn't wear are mostly blind buys. Strong perfumes like Angel Nova are my jacket perfumes, as they can be too strong indoors :)
I love shiseido Zen, How dare you? I'm just kidding. I layer Zen with Paris Corner Nouf. I love Amethyst, I like the rose scent. To each their own. But I understand. 😊

I’ve learned that if there’s certain fragrances I don’t like, I find a complimentary fragrance to layer with..I’ve come up with some really great combos by experimenting..very rarely do I have one that is a lost cause so I HOARD 😂..decluttering isn’t in my vocabulary.
Also, the ones that are lost causes I will use on old potpourri, linens, bathrooms, furniture, etc.
Ps, Versense layers beautifully with Alien Goddess, Olympea & Womanity.
I recently got rid of Lovely - by Sarah Jessica Parker. I tried and tried and tried to get on with that fragrance, I just can't. It smells sharp, clean, peppery, and almost rubbery on my skin. I tried so hard to give that fragrance a chance, I just realized it's never going to work. So I just used it as a room spray until it ran out. I was so glad when it was finally gone.
Oh wow the dry down is so beautiful!!! It smells so elegant, a gentle feminine musk! ❤️ It's a love for me but we all pick up different things in perfumes ya know ❤
@@YummyGummy77 The dry down is very rubbery and medicinal on my skin, saddly. I just can't get on with it. I really wanted to enjoy it so much.
I love the scent of Khamrah but I’m trying to figure out a layering combo that tones it down some. I think I paired it with Modest Deux last winter and that worked.
A few I like are Good Girl Legere.. or GG Supreme & Very Good Girl, fakhar Rose (L’interdit dupe), Nebras, Black Opium, Addict, Cherry fragrances work too.

Hi Maria. Amber Oud Gold is nice and strong, but wearing it after 2 days, I really need a different scent on my skin. Amethyst smells so nice on me. Like red berries, with a little rubbery note, which I don’t mind at all. I don’t wear this often, having about 400 perfumes now.
Kamrah is great for winter
I am Team Khamrah but I also live in NY where it can get really cold. That's when I mostly wear something like this. If it wasn't so cold, I would not tolerate such a scent. But scents like By the Fireplace, Jazz Club and the thicker heavy spicy guys I gravitate toward in the dead of winter.

Hi Maria! I loved this and I am a fan of Cloud by AG. I have had it and wear it on days when I'm not feeling like a niche scent and it always appeals to me. I don't think I've smelled any of the others except for Shiseido Zen and I didn't love it either. I had a decant and it wasn't for me.
Gon forever is in my declatter box for month, and usually i separate with fragrances on that box easily, but not this time. Just resprayed - i feel everything, the raspberry, the lemon peel, the playdough😂 it has to go! I just can't do the last move and actually give it away 😢
I swear I just can not stand those types of scents (Bronze Goddess) ...I truly feel like at my age most people are OVER those types of scents because once we think about it, that's the scent profile and only scent profile I swore by and loved since I was around 11 so anytime someone raves about one of those scents I get so tickled ....I think it's because I burned myself out on all the coconut, suntan, tropical ish scents through the earlier years but it's to the point that I wont even buy a coconut scent. I haven't bought a coconut scent in probably ten years. I guess it's just something that maybe could be nostalgic for a lot of people but gracious. It drives me insane because every time I turn around there's another coconut, tropical, sunscreen type perfume or spray😂 no I'm not griping at you Maria, it just made me think of how much I dislike the very much over done scent profile...I love you Miss Maria!!!

It's so funny, because I bought Khamrah because of you and I absolutely love it! I find it addictive and I'm not even a super gourmand fanatic, but I think it's very well done and delicious. I'm about to go through my collection and do a declutter, since it's gotten too large and I don't want to keep things that are just meh or are sitting there not being used. Will probably sell a few or give away to friends and family.

I prefer Qahwa to Khamra. It’s smoother and deeper. Doesn’t have that sharp edge
This is so interesting. I LOOOOOOVE Khamrah. It’s easily one of my favorite scents in my collection. I’ve also decluttered Amber Oud Gold (gave it to my 22yo son) and have decluttered Rave Now (Burberry Her Elixir clone), Ansaam Gold, Juicy Couture gold, and Ariana Grande Ari to my 15yo daughter. I liked them all except Amber Oud Gold, but never wore them and they weren’t really my style. I have Cloud as well, but haven’t picked it up in awhile.
Hi Maria, I just did a declutter also….I got rid of Goddess original (not Intense) and I got rid of Alien Eau Luminescence I just couldn’t take it. It tickled my nose everytime I used it.Khamrah is one of my favorites ( I also have Angel Share in my collection) but I only use it in fall and winter! ❤

Great video! Interesting ones you are decluttering. I love Comptoir Sud Pacifique and just ordered the Fig scent. I hear what you mean about the Lataffa Khamra (sp?) one. It smelled good but is so syrupy sweet and spicy/earthy. I plan to let it sit until the weather cools off and give it a go then.

I have decluttered tons of perfumes by giving them away mostly. I refuse to use up perfumes as home sprays if I don’t enjoy them as a perfume on myself, especially when someone else can enjoy it for themselves.
Hello Maria! Amber Oud Gold was the first Middle Eastern fragrance I purchased and it smelled so bad! Like horrible acrid burning smell, nothing fruity at all. It’s been in a dark place since Nov. 2023 and never changed. I say so long!!! How many is too many for you? I think I am there ( probably around 60-70 bottles), gonna fill up my journal soon

Oh my I too have decluttered angel nova as it was too sharp. I never liked angel share so I didn"t buy khamrah. I was given cloud but hated it so that went by the wayside. I liked crysral noir at first but just never wore it. Versace versense I layer with hermes sur li nil as it is too light to wear alone.
I think I've decluttered more than i have bought but at least my daughter has taken as they have a perfume locker at work where all her friends get to use as well.
Khamrah is a beautiful scent, but I wasn't reaching for it so I got rid of it.
I loved Elie Saab (different ones). But now I am not very fond of it anymore. It is not really strong on my skin anymore, after having it about 3 years.

I decluttered my Versace C Noir last month, it has a mold-y smell on my skin...can't do it.

I love the opening of Crystal Noir, but in the drydown there is some note that turns really dusty and irritates the back of my throat. I keep thinking it will change and I'll get over it, but I've even tried some dupes and always experience the same issue. I guess it's just not for me!

I really wanted to like Amethyst, but it smells synthetic, and there is a burnt plastic like scent to it. Oud and Roses by Ahmed Al Maghribi is a better option. It smells amazing, and the oud is not overpowering.
I would love to declutter my Amber Oud Gold edition. I gave it two chances before I put it back in its box and its sitting in a corner in my bedroom. It is just too bothersome to me. It annoyed me when I wore it. Definite scrubber. Don't get the hype.
I decluttered 2 middle eastern frags. Candid Tonight...smells like new box of cat litter...and Rave Now...smells like cheap synthetic dollor store body spray.
