    what type of wood is on the long sides outside of the board .

    We’re those 8/4 boards or 4/4 when you started? Or 3/4x2”? What were the finished dimensions? Beautiful

      I used 8/4 maple. The rest was either 4/4 rough lumber or 3/4" s4s boards. Final dimensions were 27" x 16" x 3". You didn't ask, but it weighed 30 lbs. as well!

    How come u didn't use the table saw to run the bevel?

      I attempted to use it but my table saw was experiencing a malfunction which I didn't figure out until much later that the belt tensioner got loose. Anyway, that's why I used the router.
