Stunning scenery, no wonder it's so popular. Good idea hiring the boat to get away from the crowds for a while and get closer to those fabulous waterfalls. Good job! 👏👏
How are things on Arran with tourists? Is the island also seeing an influx of tourists? We notice it a lot with places famous from Instagram. Here, it was borderline, but it was fun to see cows who were fed up with all the people 😄
@@HikeForHappiness During the summer Arran is always busy with holidaymakers and day visitors but it's still possible to see no-one on the lesser visited mountains.
This place looks incredible and yes I already had this pencilled in for visiting. It's towards the top of my list tho the crowds might be a bit annoying. Hopefully the rock falls are predictable as I can imagine it not being very pleasant caught on the wrong side. The cow near the end was funny causing a bit of mayhem. Super capture that makes me want to visit even more now 👍
The crowds are indeed a bit much. It always surprises me to see that people carelessly just walk the mountains. Some really don't look like they are sure-footed enough. The rockfall will not be an issue, if you stay off the closed paths. You can check the app "Schweiz Mobil" for current closures. It only affects the south side of the lake right now.
This was SO beautiful. I remember it was around 4 years ago myself and Brett road tripped around Europe and we went to Bern and hiked around Oeschinensee, I have to say, it was at that moment I knew that travelling was for me, the views were indescribable, like in this video and it just makes me so happy to revisit through your lens. Thank you both. Just excellent video! xx
We are very happy to hear that our video brings back such happy memories. The lake and mountains are a fabulous sight and I can see how it invokes the desire to see more of this beautiful world. Thank you so much for watching 😊
I don't think much experience is needed, that said: you should have good shoes to not slip on the steep sections and you should be fine with heights. At some points the path has steep drops and it isn't very wide. The fitness requirements are not that high, as you can rest at many places along the trail. Overall it is hard to say, but in terms of mountain hikes, this is on the easier side. If you are concerned with your endurance, start early and take your time.
This trail is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful and stunning scenery throughout the entire video! What an amazing experience! 😊
The trail is really incredible. No wonder that it has become so popular. Thank you for joining us on this one 😊
