    Very very well done, my friend. It's definitely one of the best productions on the Alps. Trust me, I have seen many Switzerland materials, but your work is fine art. I do like the explanations, and the music is just a great compliment to it all. I am making my way to Oeschinensee in the first week of October, so I plan to watch you clip a 1,000 more times😅. Thank you for your work, true quality.

      Awesome! Thank you VERY much for sharing :) I'll try to go some other places as well this summer to make a few more videos and I'll hope at some point to reach 1000 subs 😅. Hahahaha, thanks, put it on repeat!!! How long are you going here and where else are you planning to go?

      @Walk & Talk
      I will be in Switzerland for 16 days. 3 in Appenzell, 3 in Kandersteg.
      Then, the rest of the time in Wengen. Can't wait😀

      That's awesome, do you know wehre you'll stay in Apenzell yet? I have a video showing all the places in Alpstein if you want to get some inspiration.
      Wengen is super nice! make your way to Murren too! then I assume you'll see everything around Wengen too (Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, Grindelwald etc?) I have 2 videos of that too :P

    Excellent video. Yes< I like it very much. Thank you for showing me this beautiful lake and hike. What bus from Interlaken do I take to get to the starting point? Thank you.

    • @WalkandTalkchannel
      @WalkandTalkchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! From Interlaken you have to change once (if you won't want to take the bus in Kandersteg instead of walking), you have to take a train from interlaken to Spiez and then Kandersteg. You can find it on SBB.CH if you search "Interlaken West, Bahnhof" to "Kandersteg, Talstat. Oeschinen". Once you get to Kandersteg you can skip the bus and just walk to the startingpoint (up to you) :)

    I haven't seen any more impressive films about the Via Alpina than yours. I started with the Via Alpina and made it from Vaduz to Lauterbrunnen. Now I have to work for three weeks. Then it's on to Griesalp, all the way to Montreux. With your films I'm all the more pleased. Thank you very much!

      I'm so happy to hear this, just so you know! thank you very much! that's a rather long hike which part is the best in your opinion? I have not had time yet to do the whole thing because I focus on route 6, the alpine passess trail (new videos will come out) but I think via alpina would be safer for me to do alone so happy to hear about your experience and if there are particular sections I should focus on first 😄?

    Great shooting. If it's not a secret, could you please tell me what camera you used to shoot your videos? I'm looking for a gift for my dad for his 70th birthday. He'll be happy to receive a camera that can do such high quality. Thanks in advance! And I'm waiting for your new videos. They're all great.

    Love the quality of your videos. I've been tonSwitzerland but I've never been to this part before. You do such a great job with the cinematography and in narrating them. Hope to see more new videos in the future.

    Thanks for the insightful video. Some great footage and useful information! (I think the balance between music and talking is just right here btw) I'm heading to Switserland myself this Summer and have booked an additional 2 days of travelling just to visit Oeschinensee when I saw a still image of this place. After seeing this video I believe that was a good choice :) can't wait!

      @@WalkandTalkchannel Hopefully in couple of days if the weather is kind to us, we are hoping to do the Gornergrat-Zermatt hike you covered as well in next week, thanks so much for your videos, it's extremely helpful the way you carry out your videos with so much information, helped me to plan out our walks and leave out certain bits if we feel it's too much for our ability.

      Thanks a lot Chris! I'm trying to add a bit more than just "look at switzerland, it looks amazing" because we all already know it does 😉! I'm happy my voice works, that's probably what I'm most afraid of, that it wouldn't be good enough! Really appreciate your feedback 💪

    Great video! Is the water actually warm enough to swim in? We will be there in early July!

    • @WalkandTalkchannel
      @WalkandTalkchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Hahaha the water is always fed from glacier water :P BUT it can go up to 18-20 degrees if it's a warm summer, my best guess is that it's 12-15 early July (if it continues to be as cold as it is now) but that's just more refreshing! 😉

    can you sleep by tent at oeshinensee, i heard it was not allowed?
    also when was this video filmed, im planning on going in a week but heard there was still alot of snow above 2000 meters.
    Thanks in advance!
    nice videos

    • @WalkandTalkchannel
      @WalkandTalkchannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, tenting in general is not allowed however you can always go off the beaten path but that will not be around the lake so if that was your plan it might be hard, a rule of thumb is above the tree line / where you can't see any houses and set it up between dusk / dawn only. In general, as long as you show respect to nature and other and try to "hide" you'll be fine, still not allowed though but that's what the Swiss do...
      This was filmed in mid August, right now it's very cold in switzerland (even for the season...!) and they got fresh snow up in the mountains some weeks ago, you'll be able to get to the lake but I wouldn't bet on getting much higher :)
