Garret, I have one hint. You got to be more careful with these CRT junks, when you destroying them or having fun. There's about 6 to 10kV of voltage from the flyback, driving the CRT deflection, by the fat cable. It's possible to shock you a little when you hit them accidently with hammer, knife or so on the upper side of the tube or close to that cable. Have fun and keep it up. Just decided to leave it that comment.

The Audio Logic unit doesn't look that bad, it would be nice to get one of those, put a much better speaker in it and a Raspberry Pi Zero, hooked up to the CRT and make a internet radio player.

I have that exact Realistic amplifier! I don't really use it a whole lot though and it's in worse condition. I blew up some tiny speakers with it back when I was an idiot 13 year old wanting to blow stuff up like you :)
1:20 Did you customize your screensavers on that Windows 10 machine? I know Windows 10 doesn't have that 3D Pipes screensaver by default lol. Also I have one of these CRT karaoke things that I got at Goodwill for $6, it has line in and video in along with a CD player. I was able to plug a GameCube into it and play on the little CRT, but it was monochrome :/ IIRC it was manufactured in either 2000 or 2005
Cool aha I had the 3D maze first but with all the displays I have going it was a mindfuck, On the two big tvs it would make me dizzy lol but I have a 40 edit, 50inch over my computer desk and 55 as the main TV rather close together ahaha
Haha yeah :D But I was tapped into the 8 ohm output - distorted audio zaps feel like 110v shocks but with a wild frequency that I find messes with me much more than normal 110v shocks haha
@@GarretClaridgeMeerkat ah in that case it might actually have a transformer inside of it, for the 8 ohm outputs, and if you send a truly clipped signal into anything inductive it can certainly cause inductive spikes which might be what happened, however it could also be that you're somewhat sensitive to it too
