I love these videos. The way you can match the old to the present is amazing. Bucket list for one of the trips.

Another great location video. Amazing to see how many things look so different, yet many are still quite obvious. Stay on the tracks of 007 Bond fans! Great to see so many fans making to these adventures.

Wish I could have been in that tour. Brings back memories of New Orleans and Lakefront airport, where I learned to fly. I lived in New Orleans during the 60's and 70's and saw the Sean Connery film From Russia with Love at the Saenger theatre in downtown New Orleans in 1964. Been a fan of James Bond ever since. I met Roger Moore by chance in the late 80's when I rode with him in the same elevator at the Maya hotel in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Central America. Excellent video. Thanks.

I regret not being able to join you in my hometown as I was on assignment elsewhere. Ah timing is everything.

The Oyster truck is a 1923 Mack model AB. It was still in use in 1964 and was featured in a Mack truck print ad then. It had over a million miles, delivering Oysters on a 200 mile route daily. Shame to see it sitting outside like that.

Thanks fornthe additional info. I suppose it is more of a local icon, so you would expect (or hope) someone local to give it the TLC it clearly needs.

Had my photo taken on Chartres street by Dumaine less than 2 weeks ago now, going to frame it with photos of how it was in Live and Let Die.
