    This was the last video of yours to watch, I've now seen them all (some more than once!) The videos have been really helpful in me making a decision over the last year or so...Devlivery day next Monday so fingers crossed I enjoy it as much as you seem to do!

    Brilliant going to Norfolk later in the year and I'm from Sussex so really useful. Thank you

    Great to see some very familiar roads. Even more impressed by the correct pronunciation of Wymondham and Attleborough.

      Thanks! I lived very near to Wymondham about 20 years ago. I love that area of the country.

      @@ShortCircuitPS2 it’s certainly is nice part of the country. I love the green spaces of Norfolk, hence I could never live in London.

    Another great video. To think you almost went past my house, and I could have seen my first other polestar in the wild after seven months of ownership! Safe journeys...

    Interesting video for a route that I am very familiar with. You did well to charge at Brichanger, those have always been in use when I’ve tried, so I agree that it really needs more units. It’s a bit of a charging desert for the remaining journey to Norwich, there really needs to be options at Barton Mills. Four went ways is an OK place to stop, but again only one charger there so no guarantee you can park up and charge.
    My next trip to Norwich will be via Gridserve in Braintree. It looks new, clean, nice and most importantly plenty of chargers.

      Thanks, yes the grid serve in Braintree is very impressive. Well worth stopping there even if it is a slight detour

      I went to Braintree yesterday to charge up. Super quick but not quite on the main roads to Norwich from London direction.

    Nice video and makes a change seeing some roads I'm familiar with instead of somewhere in Norway or the US 😄

    Great news regarding your mileage, very encouraging for us Polestar 2 owners.I think the figures are even better since I'm sure the usable battery is 75 and not 72.5, which makes it 240miles and 225 miles respectively .

      @ShortCircuitPS2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Pete, thanks yes that correct about 75 but Bjorn Nyland did some interesting tests and found it to be closer to 73-74 so I've been using a cautious approach. However I think I should use 75 in future as to be a bit less pessimistic.

    Thanks for this interesting Polestar 2 video and greetings from Germany. Would be nice if you always convert your data from miles to kilometers 😊

    Hey... Hope you're doing well. Have you seen that A Better Route Planner is available in the app store for Polestar now?? Just thought I'd let you know, just in case you weren't aware. 😊👍

      Thanks, yes the thing I like the most about it is it shows the charging speed in kW finally!

    Another great video. Just wondering if anyone could recommend the best value leasing company for polestar? I notice the polestar prices have been jumping around a lot recently, and it’s still more expensive than a Tesla LR for some reason. Also, an idea for a future video might be to summarise the new Polestar 2 variants just released and how they differ? Keep up the great work!

      Hi Andy, thanks in fact I have a video about that going live at 6pm today! Although the previous high spec model of the car is now more expensive it's great to see more affordable options available too and the long range single motor will be much more suitable for many people. I think the lease prices might comes down in the next few months, they do seem very high at the moment.

    Hello
    Even if I repeat myself: Very nice video!
    Please don't be angry with me, but I would rather see the beautiful landscape with the road than your face. :-)
    And I thought the M1 was the longest parking space. ;-)
    Do you have such problems with finding charging points? I am a bit surprised. Or did I get it wrong?
    The consumption is 33.3 kWh / 100km, ..., Wouhuw, are you a little speeder? ;-) :-))
    I'm already looking forward to the 2nd part!
    I wish you a good start into the week.

    Just out of curiosity, do you know what your actual range is for trips like this without using the calculations and just of distance travelled and percentage left? (Hence you could predict range from there) Mainly because you always use 72kwh usable battery, whereas everyone else uses 75kwh for their calculations, so would like to know which is more accurate with the actual distance driven, and not a predicted calculations. Thanks and great video.

    • @ShortCircuitPS2
      @ShortCircuitPS2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, yes I will give that a try and will probably start using 75kWh in future. I used 72.5 for a long time due to some calculation I'd see online but I don't think it's the most fair approach for the car.

  • @kimah-see1651

    I amazed that you get such good consumption I've not managed much below 39kwh/100mls. What's you're secret?? Very helpful videos btw😎

      I'm not sure to be honest! My wife does sometimes comment about my very relaxed (ie chilled out!) style of driving. I don't drive slowly but I think I'm generally quite relaxed on the pedal. Did a recent 550 mile road trip and managed around 33kWh/100. I think that's partly due to warmer weather and also due to rapid charging on route which keeps heat in battery and seems to help with consumption numbers.
