Congratulations, keen to see some updates on the caravan when you get round to it. We have a 04 pioneer that I need to build a bunk in for my 1yo now to make a bit more comfortable. We initially just pulled the table out so we could use the space for a portacot at night and in the day used a Bunnings plastic fold up table when needed. It’s a great van and glad to hear you’re keeping yours.

I did 3 big laps, 3 months at a time as a kid, the first I was 4, and 2 sisters 2.5 and 7.5, and then again 3 years later, and another 2 years after that. The first 2 were in a caravan, the 3rd off road trailer and tent. Plenty of other 2 week trips in between. It is the best education children can get, so don't let that stop you seeing this great country. I've got vivid memories of these trips 30 years later. Congrats guys, excited for the adventures ahead.

You will love the Ranger. Mine is awesome. Heading up the Cape as soon as its open. Got some electrical jobs up there to do. Work on the way up and explore on the way back to Cairns. Been watching your Cape vids.

Do yourself a favour and visit Pedders Morayfield for a GVM upgrade. I did it to our FJ Cruiser tug with a 2 inch lift - amazing.
We're hoping to make this a more light weight tourer so hopefully not go down this track.
