I hope you purchased the bottle of “Protect All” for the seat!! Its manufacturer recommended!! Mustangs customer service recommended it for my’22 Rebel 1100 DCT because the seat isn’t waterproof, but that product will help with that, and keeps the seat conditioned. 👍
Bought mime used with 700 miles and it has this. Most comfy bike I've ever ridden. Now that I think about this I don't think my rear has ever been sore at all on this.
Mine is now pushing a year old. Yes, it will very soon be getting a Mustang seen. Unfortunately he just got to the point where my put hurts after a commute home or to work. Some days I just take the voyager. I am so glad you are enjoying the rebel.
I also have a manual. It will whoop a DCT in a heartbeat. These bikes are a lot of fun. My last bike was a sport bike. These bikes are the best of both worlds. It will run with a sport bike or cruise with a Harley. Thanks for the video on the seat. I will be ordering one soon.
@@brianshockley6429 I probably should’ve explained that I did a little racing. So shifting that thing really fast is not a problem. Lol! You are right it will go like anything right until 100. Not as fast as my old ninjas. But more comfortable on my shoulders.
better than the stock that's for sure!.....any seat on a the Rebel is going to give you a numb butt after 2 hours though. You need a long distance Bagger Bike to not have that issue
You don't happen to know if Mustang bike parts make a back seat rest, do you? I think it would be more comfortable if there was a back seat with a backrest attached to the rear fender/wing if there was a passenger.

Both are amazing bikes though. Can’t go wrong with either one.
The dct will be faster 0-100 it doesn’t take you shifting but it’s not fun for me so manual it is! Lol. They’re both quick and fun 🤩

Thinking about this seat for my own 1100. Q. Did they keep the helmet lock under the seat? That was sort of convenient on the stock seat.
