They don't always have all types at the same time, and not all these colors like she got in this video, but they've had these types at different times. I recently bought some cotton yarn at DT and started making a dishcloth. I have not bought the acrylic yarn yet.
@@herb7160 I like using their just yarn brand(specially the one with yellow wrapper's thin yarn and the white wrapper's acrylic) for small accessories cause it's super soft which is a god send cause I have add and anxiety so I love soft and/or worn-out textures in clothing so for small clothes like gloves, hats, scarf, etc., I would love if they sold bigger skeins, but there's a dollar tree that open in the building that used to be a ride-aid(I think that's how it's spelled) so it's really big and has lots of yarn then the one closest to our house, like the one closest might have a small box, but the new one has a decent size shelf of yarns like the chenille, worsted, etc. also they have way more colors like I found this yarn color called rose and its more of a rose wine color but really pretty, which is amazing since the only closest craft store is the next city over and the city it's in has a lot of shooting and robbery so not safe and the next closest is at least 2 city away and with traffic it takes almost a hour to go to and way out of my budget.

Most yarns tend to make bags that can't hold much weight without stretching out a LOT. I'm terrified to put too much into my crochet bag, it's already started to warp a little.
@@dracofirex I used a crochet bag to carry work notebooks for maybe two years and I found that whenever I thought it was stretched beyond repair 😬 I would toss it in the wash and let it air dry and it would shrink back to the original size? I was amazed. Unfortunately I cant attest to what fiber the yarn was as it was a gift from my aunt!

FYI, it's actually less expensive by yardage to buy the larger economy skeins of yarn, like lion brand pound of love, caron one pound, big twist, etc..., than what you're paying overall for dollar tree yarn per yard. Especially if the economy yarn is on sale. :)
Not everyone has that luxury. Some people can only buy it in smaller amounts at a time and some people only have this store in real life and can’t shop online.

I haven’t used dollar tree yarn for any big projects, but I use it to practice color work and am usually pleasantly surprised by the outcome!
Yeah I made baby clothes for a friend of mine from dollar tree yarn, it actually is pretty high quality and comes with a lot for the price 😂

I’m a broke beginner-intermediate crocheter and I love using dollar tree yarn! I’ve never had any issues with it :D
the fluffy one kinda sheds/pulls apart if you use it for something you wear or play with, it's better for things you don't touch a lot
what crochet hook size do you use for it? it doesn’t say on the yarn label

Plarn is an option! :) you can make yarn out of plastic bags and make a sturdier bag!
