- hi there! I went yarn shopping at Joann (struggled so hard not to say ~joann's~) to stock up on yarn for my crochet obsession, and this is how it went! In addition to shopping, I also share some of my future crochet projects and do a haul at the end.

i don’t even have joan’s where i live, only a few small yarn shops with yarn that’s a bit expensive
I wanna talk about it! We don't have any malls near where I live that sells yarn so I order online but only in Shopee and Lazada but they don't have that much variety that I could choose from. Gaaaaahhh so jealous!
@@aligacharishjell3076 were i live we got a Joan’s and hobby lobby but our joan’s is nothing compared to the one in the video also i’m pretty sure you can order yarn of off joan’s and amazon if that helps :))

Caron One Pound Yarn is my favorite! It goes so far, and is so affordable for large projects! It often goes on 50% off so I always buy a ton when it does and never run out!

@@makeasplash8149 it is a little rough before washing, but once it is washed it is really soft! It is a yarn I would use for sweaters or scarves/hats/gloves since it will be warmer than cotton.

Thank you for supporting my small channel ❤️ I haven’t had any issues with Joann shipping thus far. Shipping times are standard and I always get everything I ordered! I live in a large city, so shipping here is very accessible. I’m not sure how it is elsewhere.

• Loops & Threads Sweet Snuggles / Chenille Home (SUPER BULKY and SOFT)
• Red Heart Super Saver (acrylic. weight 4. many color choices)
• Big Twist (acrylic. weight 4. softer than Red Heart Super Saver)
• Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton (cotton. also weight 4 but seems smaller than big twist & red heart)
• Lily Sugar ‘n Cream (cotton weight 4)
• Caron Cotton Angel Cakes (sold out 😭 for a while)
• Cotton Fair (weight 2)
• Bernal Velvet (would not recommend for beginners because it’s hard to see your stitches)

My favourite thing to crochet is ponchos with variegated, tie-dyed, multicoloured yarns. I love how easy they are to make, very beautiful with the gradient yarns and sell for a decent price too. I just need a proper outlet to sell them as I don’t have an Etsy set up yet.

I’m not sure where you’re located, but Big Twist yarn is great where I am. It is inexpensive and easy to work with!
