      You should switch stances imo. Don't work only in one position, try and practice both. I'm just boxing and this is what I do. Whatever foot is leading, I have an answer.

    What is better for self defense? I like Muay Thai but my friends tell me Krav maga is better.

      Krav maga but both will do the job

      Can’t go far wrong with Thai boxing and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Krav Maga just falls into the category of all other Martial Arts claiming to be the best but not proven. I don’t care if they claim to be used by a military unit, most martial arts are.

      Bjj

      I would say Muay Thai and bjj you can find them everywhere and they are proven time and time again to work just keep in mind some aspects will be tailored towards it being a sport whereas krav maga is solely focused on self defence

    Why the fist is closed.. I have seen partially closed fist

    • @kermit1211
      @kermit1211 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s better to keep a tight fist especially if you’re about to throw a punch

    • @saraths6842
      @saraths6842 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kermit1211 yeah but when we train they teach you unclosed fists

    • @kermit1211
      @kermit1211 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@saraths6842 the way I was taught, you start to have your fists tight if you’re gonna punch or you’re in punching range. If you’re out of range, then you can have your fists loose
