Wow. This was actually so helpful. I had a decent amount of experience with cutting videos and fitting them with music, but I didn't know how to give my videos that look I was going for. This is what I needed to know!

This was a great tutorial! I was looking for one where someone would actually explain what all the terms are, but I kept coming across videos where they assumed that the audience knows these basics. Thanks for this!

colour correction is not only exposure, wb, etc. it is also removing annoying colours/areas that may distract and brighten others, in order to guide the viewer's eye movement and create a pleasant and meaninful composition that serves the story.

You have no idea how appreciative I am of this video!! I was forced to go from Final Cut Pro X to this new Adobe and everything is sooooo much different. I shot a video with my Nikon d5200 and it was extremely yellow! I had spent hours trying to correct it on my lumetri like if it was a raw photo and I kept on getting too green, purply, dark, ashy... you name all the colors I had them, and I was getting so frustrated! Thank you soooooo much for this video I was able to simply fix it in 5 min, I was doing way to much and causing the video to get more distorted. However, since I have multiple clips I did an adjustment layer so I only have to do it once. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!

Been editing for about 5 years now and only just been doing it professionally for 6 months and even then I still can't wrap my head around colour grading lol, I think I've finally understood colour correction like what each value does like shadows, highlights, contrast etc that all makes sense now but I just don't have the confidence to get creative and say 'ok I'm going to have increase/decrease the e.g. shadows so I can have this type of grade etc.' it's all a bit overwhelming but I'm determined to understand it lol

Hello. Need your advice. I am going to edit a video with scenes shot from 3 different cameras and three different fps settings. So to make the editing process quicker for me, I want to color grade, correct and make the fps the same on the footage shot from each individual camera. Then render it out. Once i have all of that done, then i will piece together the actual video using all the footage shot from all the cameras. Your thoughts?
