Are you kidding me? Lyrically, this band is so strong...that's one of their biggest appeals. You've never known negative, bitter people who are dead inside? Not saying that is what this song is about, exactly, but that is what it means to me. It isn't supposed to be about your finding out the meaning of a song as meant by THEM when they wrote it....it's about finding your OWN meaning and making it purposeful for YOU! Love the song, love the vocals, love the album.
While I admit, none of Shai Hulud's other albums are even close to the greatness of That Within Blood, this is pretty good so far. Gonna have to buy it and give the entire album a few spins.

Way slower and more mid-tempo than your average Shai Hulud song. The main riff is catchy as hell for hardcore however. And yes, the album is goddamn brilliant.
