The Crusade album is so underrated, it's a classic imo
N,cv just. N r rcvnnk
It s a god damn masterpiece man
This song is leagues above the rest of this album.
Not saying the rest isnt good. But this song is *inspired* sexy. That tapping lick... Fack.
I wouldn't say it's a classic, but it had some good tracks. People were like "hurr durr we want more metalcore, because it's not metalcore it sucks." Agreed.
Top 10 trash albums.
This song is like a boss theme from some game - especially the last 2 minutes or so.
This entire album is glorious. This track is a MASTERPIECE. Call of Kthulu, YYZ, and Cliffs of Dover are the only instrumentals that I consider in the same league.
I wouldn't go that far myself but it is underrated
Go listen perpetual burn by jason becker the entire album is a master piece
Man...anything Plini wrote ever? Other bands such as The Helix Nebula, Intervals, Animals as Leaders, Vitalism, Polyphia... There's just a million instrumentals and instrumental bands that write amazing tunes - not saying I don't love this track but there's plenty out there.
Inquisition Symphony by Sepultura?
If you haven't, try Implements of Destruction by Chimaira. Very similar style I think, and 13 mins to boot
My go to song for when I want to spread the word of God across the land.
amen
DUES VULT ✝️⚔️
"Peacefully"
Amazing guitar and bass work
I can play all the parts by myself after listening to this band for 18 years it's so fun to practice
Smash em good Tommy.
Oh yeah? Take it you went to Brantley as well?
Its strange, I didn't care for this album at all but it has on it this one track that is hands down one of the best metal instrumentals like ever written. Somehow one of my all time favorite songs got written by a band that I don't really like.
How the fuck does that even happen?
I wish they had followed this trend. Shogun was also similar, although it was not an instrumental: th-cam.com/video/CNos0PBB1lY/w-d-xo.html
R Jonas music is weird man, that's how lol. I personally love Trivium and this album in specific is one of my favorites, but some of my favorite songs come from bands I normally don't like as well.
Listen to the man, listen to *SHOGUN.*
One of the best, if not Trivium's best masterpiece ever wrote.
PS: I'm talking about the song *AND* the album.
This is the song that put Trivium on the map for me, it really shows their skill, that they're not just another newcomer bands that only scream and make loud noises. This band can write serious music and this song is a perfect example of it.
Life is colourful, people and banda re alsó colourful. Some of their songs impress you great feelings, but U dont like their other works. Its mainly natural, maaan!
Personally... I rank The Crusade album over Shogun. Started on ascendancy, waves, vengeance.. skipped Crusade then discovered Shogun and that was the pinnacle for me.. At that time I was listening to various different genres so it got lost, after some time I revisited and absolutely fell in love with the Crusade album.. flawless masterpiece, dynamic and pushes the boundaries the way only Trivium can.
4:40...the calm before the fucking storm, my god. That shit goes off HARD
This song can easily be played a street fighter high ranked tournament it's so pumping and driving I honestly just discovered trivium, the raining arpeggios and time changes are just insane!
Been listening to these guys since high school, back when Ascendancy came out. Such an amazing band
SFV sir? PS4?
go listen to some prog ya noob
What rock have you been hiding under?
My current "Pre-Workout" song, been already sweaty even I haven't started lifting yet
6:40-7:10 what the hell was that. Best part of Trivium discography
truly unreal!!
Nothing beats That Part in shogun
Thank you for uploading a better quality version of the song
Shivers on the first listen, that doesn't happen too often with me
I often refer to this as one of the greatest metal songs of all time.
Song tells a story
one of my favourite trivium albums!!!
Is this party certified music? If it is, Oceania can’t be that bad.
One would think that now after the boom of instrumental proggy projects/bands this would somehow begin to feel obsolete but not only this track still holds up, it still sounds so fresh and unique.
No tired formula, no overly technical nonsense, no unnecessary shredding. So many prog songs have that now but only few manage to introduce and repeat themes like Crusade in a way that would make them so memorable.
Just proves how incredibly talented the members of Trivium are.
We need a new trivium album. Boys your hometown, altamonte wants to see you back!
I'd put this song on the same level as the likes of hangar 18 it certainly has that level of dynamics and feel that Marty Friedman captured when in megadeth imo
Logan Priest I'd even go as far as saying Trivium is the modern-day Megadeth
@@DetectiveConack dont insult trivium lol
@@tfwnoyandere
don't insult Megadeth lol
@@SimicFishCrab sorry i dont like dad rock
Whoa now ladies there's plenty to go around lol
This is like Trivium's And Justice for All.
5:53 well, neck muscles, i'm sorry for what i have to put you through, now. its windmill time.
Every time
2:32 - 2:37 such a short riff but best part of the song
Sounds like Dream Teather
it's repeat at 3:41 and the transition that comes after is even more epic imo
5:55 , this is sooo good!
incredible tune so well composed
I'm working on a novel called Crusade... This song may or may not have some influence on that.
Almost done my 2 week covid bid, this song is getting me ready to tear it up.
One of the best song of Trivium for me !
Holy shit, I grossly misjudged Trivium as just another metalcore band. This is fucking great!
Their only “metalcore” albums are ember to inferno and ascendancy. Everything else is thrash or just modern heavy metal
Trivium is great :)
I dont know all albums, but if you like this song check out the rest of the album "The Crusade" and "Shogun". Shogun is my personal favorite.
God, I love this!!!
The solo at 5:54 is incredible and one of my favorite of all time.
One of the best metal instrumentals of all time
great song to warm up on drums with
Geeze, so damn good
Masterpiece
Nameless King
Love how it goes all randy rhoads around 6:01
The Crusade is not one of my favorite Trivium albums, but the bass work on this track is sooooooo good.
Really don't know why this album gets shit on by other Trivium fans, it's one of their best along with Shogun and In the Court of the Dragon!
If there was ever a more appropriate time to smash that like icon, this was it!
Miran en menos una obra de arte
Just found this gem, badass fuckin song
It pushes me when I go running
Love to play the tapping part from 3:47
deceptively easy, isn't it? a great "level 2" practice bit for learning taps, cuz moving up and down the board with both hands can be tough at first, but its flashy as fuck! lol
I heard the bass in a metalcore song. A new experience. Can somebody recommend me metalcore bands with amazing bass?
what hardcore influence you hear in this?
It's not metalcore, in fact
the whole album is actually thrash metal

3:46 , too epic.
This song Rullz
Dang
I love the tapping lick at 3:47
I dont like Trivium but this is a F masterpiece. One of the best instrumentals ever made.
@@erickvillalba5824 Yeah. I kinda like the new clean vocals and the sound of it. Think growls were not for this guy. Idk his hame but his cleans are much muuuch better. And for the instrumental part I've considered Trivium to be among the very best.
the only heavy metal song i listen to
Why the fuck people hate this album? Is just brilliant.
Who the fuck puts an ad in the middle of a song
2020
best part:
5:53 just kidding... its
0:01 - 8:19
Music is top
FIrst time listening to the Crusade, it won't be my last
6:42!
I did always hate that masterfully done fade out, could’ve taken another 15 mins
Shoulda had this in the new Mortal Kombat film.
This song tells me I would fucking love trivium if it wasn’t for the vocals. Cos that was heavenly and I can’t stand their other shit
04:40
Soooo much fucking fun on guitar. Improve your skills! Impress your Friends! Wake up your neighbors!
Learn The crusade on guitar Now!
3:47
Some parts of this song feel like if you gave Beethoven an electric guitar
After being a house DJ for over two decades (but always a lover of metal) this seems like a joke.
Like 'mix up all the clichés and see what they think.'
Whatever the goal may be the execution is perfect, I love it...
I just uploaded a cover of this. If you want, go and check it out. Incredible song! Definitely one of my favs instrumentals.
Yes, I am going to check out a new channel from somewhere besides the “recommended for you” spot on the youtube homepage.
@@dominicross96 thats toxic lol
Сотый коммент, ещё и русский, есть ли название у такого стиля?
thrash metal/metalcore but i hear some progressive elements in trivium as well
Very Annihilator sound to this, not a massive Trivium fan but this is unreal 👌🏻
5:16 is so dirty.
I guess in the only one... DEUS VULT
No I am as Well
I'm not huuuuge on Trivium.
But this song is A fucking +
Is this an open love letter to Master of Puppets?
orion
I love metal more than Zayn. Am I right?
To mention “the unspeakable one” is the utmost heresy
so much of losfer words
Greatest jam
The only good song on the album :(
Naah, You have Becoming the Dragon, Detonation, To the Rats, Entrance of the Conflagration... its a matter of taste but this album has some good songs on it
This album is the essence of metal
Yeah, unfortunately the rest was ruined by Matt for some reason deciding to become a Hetfield impersonator
@@DingusMcBrungus I mean you develop your voice from your inspirations, and gradually find your own voice. I didn't like the album at first but it has grown to be one of my favorites
Dingus McBrungus they have completely different techniques first off, and what’s wrong with the fact that he may sound like him? both have amazing voices
Its funny because this album is hot garbage. At the same time this is easily my favorite trivium track of all time.
sei lá, vontade de sair quebrando tudo dentro de casa
