Treat the children well, let them go and find their way and thrive, they will come back to have relationships with you but not feed off of you unless circumstances change. It is the sitya danger for me hahaha, Brian is a contented man. Side note: Oprah is 70 years old and really doing great. She is taking care of her health and having good conversations around that and on menopause; empowering women to have better experiences.
