I understand that for sure. It was definitely a video length decision because I didn't want to go through all of the stitches specifically in this video. I do have a playlist of videos for each stitch which are 30-60 seconds long which I felt was a bit more "consumable" for TH-cam videos.
Is there any way you could explain to me if when a pattern says this (increase) 1 (or 3 or what ever number) single crochet, 2 single crochet means? I know how to do an increase and things but im not uunderstanding if its wanting me to do that number of increases before the 2 sc or if it means 1 increase then 1 sc, 2sc. Im sure im probably over thinking this but this pattern is worded different then my previous projects
It should mean to increase 1 first, then do the 2 single crochets. It can be confusing because the wording is definitely not standardized when it comes to that..
That means that you do 42 SC for each of the 4 rows, 8,9,10,11. So to make the pattern shorter, instead of listing out each row, since they are all the same, they bunch it together.
Thank you so much , simply put and easy to understand 😊😊😊
You're welcome 😊 Thank you for taking the time to comment!
Thank you 😊 😊😊
Really helpful video for beginners, thankyou so much!
You're welcome! I know a lot of people who find looking at patterns overwhelming (I was one of them!) I'm glad this video was helpful!
A clear reminder for Uk crochet enthusiasts that the pattern symbols relate to US names for the stitches.
^^^ This! Yes! 😄
thank you from Israel♥️
You're welcome!
Well explained, however as a beginner I would have liked to see the actual stitch you were doing.

what does. row 8-11: 42 sc (4 rows) mean?
