Final Boeing 747 airplane leaves factory

(8 Dec 2022) Boeing said on Wednesday that the last Boeing 747 airplane, a 747-8 freighter, has left the company's widebody factory in Everett, Washington, in advance of its delivery to Atlas Air in early 2023. (Dec 7)

The Queen may be out of production, but her iconic shape will continue to grace the skies for decades to come. The newest 747-8s will very likely be flying well into the 2050's.
