That looks like a pretty cool hike. I saw on AllTrails that the ladder is gone (probably due to a flash flood I would guess) and for the time being hikers have to go around using the connector trail, which as you pointed out, looked a bit slick. Cheers!
Coyote Butte North takes you to the famous Wave. You need to win the lottery for a permit to get there. Most don't get a permit including me. Wire Pass was a good replacement to the Wave. We did a few days later come back down this road with a permit for Coyote Butte South. We went with a guide because it is almost impassable about 10 miles south of Wire Pass. You should go back and do Lower Antelope Slot Canyon. It was so beautiful--better than Wire Pass with all the different colors and the depth of the canyon.
Thanks for commenting. I would love to live in this area to really explore this! I bet you had a great hike ! I didn't know that Coyote Butte was the turn off for The Wave. That would be a site to see !!
So cool-- absolutely amazing footage. Great work!! Glad everything went well and you were able to get this on video for all of us. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I just checked out your channel too! I subscribed.
That was a nice hike. The rock formations were absolutely awesome. Glad you and Fred did this.
Like your slot canyon trip, we will be adding to our fall trip.
That’s wonderful to hear! Thanks for sharing! It was a highlight of our trip to Utah. I spend a year planning that entire 6 week itinerary.
That was gorgeous... and Lily enjoyed it as much as you did!
Ah thanks for watching and commenting Deana!!

Did you guys drive there from Florida or did you rent a travel trailer and truck?
We took our little camper and drove. It was a 6 week trip ;)
