Beautiful! Your videos are getting better and better! Good job, sir. Thank you for adding car sound into it. 80 is my favorite body type for the Land Cruiser.
Sean Clark Thx. Appreciate your feedback. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with building up your car. Where are you from? Any cool trails around the corner?
@@SkyrockExpeditions thanks brother! We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A fair amount of places to go offroad and explore/camp. Nothing like out west though. I hope to visit one day soon.
mike murillo Thx! Appreciate your nice feedback! The board computer is self made based on an Arduino micro processor and various sensors. It has a lot of features like displaying the speed, elevation, gps, temperature, roll/pitch and so on. And it also stores your gps coordinates in gpx format every few seconds on an SD card. So you can upload all your tracks to gaiagps or other tools understanding this format and display your routes on a map. I’m very happy with it 👌
took this trail in 1993 and got a grand tour of Cerreo Gordo ghost town by the owner at that time (private owner then) his dad lived at the bottom just outside of Swansea where you turn up to start the trail
Robert Benson Very interesting. We thought about asking for a tour but ran out of time at the end of the trail. One more reason to go back there again 👍
Long time ago, trail looks just a little rougher now. Owner sent us east towards Eureka dunes. Let us camp on his property near an abandon rock quarry.

Thanks, bro! Really appreciate your nice feedback 😉
Great job on this vid
Thx, bro! Appreciate it!
Very nice editing and love the 80! I'm building mine little by little! Best 4x4 in the world IMO.

Sean Clark Sounds like a plan to me 👍
I find these types of videos relaxing. I’ve got a 95 white 80 and I love watching yours tackle obstacles.
John Adams I hope you have as much fun with your Land Cruiser as we have 😎
I could watch for hrs.
Thx, man! Appreciate it!
Very nice. Went there 10 years ago.
Mission Off-Road Thx, bro! I hope you had as much fun as we did on this trail 👍
nive video, very useful
Thx 👍
The map shows you drove in the ocean!!
That’s because the first part of the trip (SFO to LAX) was by plane. That‘s also why the video starts with an airport/airplane scene 😉
Great video what’s the gps elevation Monitor called

Do you DD your 80? Im thinking of getting an 80 for the best of both worlds.
Felix Felix 35” and the rear bumper add up to something not really practical
and even less economical but I still love to drive it on the daily.
Those real rocky parts, are they off shoots from the main road?
Leo ramirez No off shoots. It’s the main trail but don’t be scared, it’s doable 😉
Do you think a full size 4x4 truck can make that trail
You should be fine. This trail isn’t too difficult. But plan for a couple hours as it it slow going for most parts.
@@SkyrockExpeditions thanks for the response, we will be up there for Memorial Day. Seems like fun
@@SuperSilence23 I’m sure you will have a lot of fun out there. It’s a nice trail with lots of cool stuff along the way as well as amazing views 👍
Did you do this trail clockwise or counterclockwise ?
redgtscoupe Clockwise. From Swansea to Cerro-Gordo.
