According to J.P. At Talking the Orville TH-cam channel, this Orville's 3rd season on Hulu is actually "season 1" of a different timeline, following from the last episode of season 2.
Because of all of these changes, some unlikeable characters, and the firing of Halston Sage, I've decided to quit the Orville altogether. No season 3 for me, lol!
I'm still hopeful that we'll get some good content this season but let's wait and see!
Season 3 has less comedy. Not sure if it can maintain interest with a more dramatic theme. I did like s3 e2.
