Update: I have been experimenting with this prototype and found some interesting stuff... If you pull off T-rex glitch in Level 11 Bone Yard (AKA Dino might!), near the end of the level... the game glitches up and has potential to crash. Oh and BTW, the Triceratops doesnt appear at all when you're riding on T-rex. It always crashes when you lose the dino in that section tho... (Depending on the animation you're getting into that final segment the different ways can show corrupted animation) Now for more interesting stuff... I used the dupe glitch to access areas that are completely blocked off given we cant get yellow gem nor the green gem. WIth that nifty glitch... to my interest... i have found out that The "Sphynxter's" death route is complete and its slightly different with TERRIBLE near non-existant wall collision detection. As for the Dino Might! ugh i mean "Bone Yard" and the yellow gem death route... Well the death route is fully complete and in fact its fully functional... however... ... The Death route gem is MISSING!!! And remember that little section at the end past the platform that takes you back?! Yeah... there are no 5 lives there... and instead... its a WARP BALL that takes you back out of the level!!! (The warp ball takes you to the middle of the warp room like Ski Crazed or Rings OF Power) You can also hover above the warp ball ending with just double jump and death tornado spin which then you can go outta bounds.... and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out then you think... its odd. Also fun fact: YOU CAN get all boxes in Dino Mig-ehm i mean "Bone Yard". Well there is one more thing that im going to test if its possible and if it exists... Oh FYI... the ptero that warps you to Level 32 Eggipus Rex just kills you, so that level doesnt even exist i presume. Go figure. (Without the dupe glitch my highest % was 68% in this prototype) EDIT: Oh fun fact... the level "Tell No Tales" and its relic is NEARLY impossible. If you jet ski your way through PERFECTLY... you can score JUST below 2:00:00 which is a requirement time for a "Silver" aka Sapphire. (My time was 1:59:36)
how to access Area 51? and Ski3 please? I'm currently at 62%, compiling a list of all the differences. I know some i'm pretty sure no one else knows, trust me, i just have no one to share it with, so if you're interested.. i see you know A LOT about this too!
well, found a way/glitch to get all 67 boxes from Dino Might! aka Bone Yard (level 4) but since the ONE box in the red gem path is a wooden checkpoint, i can't go back to the main path, so i grabbed all of the boxes from the main path then returned to the red gem via ninja skills, but at the end of the red gem path, there was no gem, obvioiusly, coz i already got the one from there, but i need the clear gem!
Now THIS is amazing! Finally a true Crash Bandicoot 3 Prototype version that's playable. Now, if there is a download link to that... i surely will enjoy the hell outta that... PS. But then again it might be the same case like was with Spyro 1 Late Beta and LXShadow. No distribution to it, but he could at least showcase it...
This and the beta of the second game have debug codes? The alpha of the firts game have a debug option L1+R1 in game make crash invincible, same button conbination in new game screen unlock all levels

Despite what the intro says, this is actually a late beta, dated August 15th. Final retail build came out on October 31st. A true alpha build probably exists but more than likely hasn't been found or released yet. Still, there's enough differences that make this stand out from retail Btw who is that in the background, a roommate?
@@Darkaiser I have the beta. Despite what you want to call it, this is late in the development cycle. This build doesn't contain as many differences as earlier builds to label it as such.

Also last fun fact for ya all... My savestates from ACTUAL final version of NTSC Crash 3 that i had in the past, COULD HAVE BEEN used to load the game, but any changes between the versions and game crashed sadly. Like i coulda played through some of Level 16 Sphynxinator AKA Sphynxter and it crashed at the part with the green gem route. Both boxes after the doorway and the platform itself were gone and as soon as i walked in there, crash vanished and game froze. Oh well, i thought i coulda messed around with certain assets this way...

EDIT > I've managed to unlock the secret warp room, but not in the coventional way though lol no cheats involved, just a code programmed inside the Alpha Demo itself, i guess that's how you guys did it too. Now i am 75% done, with 27/25 crystals (no 'extra-items glitch used... YET! xD), all relics and almost every gem, yellow and green cannot be obtained, so the code gave those to me.

No, there are 34 NSF files in image, so there is no room for unused levels. Or something around. Haven't compared list yet.
