You've mentioned rules regarding Permanent card in a few of your videos. Please note the following: "Permanent cards are set aside at the start of step 1 of setup." (Rules Reference v1.6, page 30). This means that hero's Permanent cards are set aside during the "1. Select Identities. Each player selects one identity, placing their alter-ego side face up." setup step. Keep those MC & how-to-play videos coming! (It'd be fun to see you review some of the original Core Set heroes too.)
Having played him now solo and 2H against a selection of popular villainy I have come to the conclusion that the character that does the most damage to Wolverine is Wolverine. What’s not to like? But can you be rented for parties?
Sadly, I don't think Aggressive Energy works the way Embiggen and Honed Technique do. I think you only get 1 total extra damage, not 1 per attack. They are worded differently. The same goes for the Justice resource card with thwarting. I had really hoped they would add to each instance of attack/thwart, but they seem to be deliberately worded in a different way than Embiggen/Shrink.
When I asked in the rules question email I got this reply to: "When using Aggressive Energy to pay for Wolverine's Slice and Dice will both instances of damage deal an additional 1?" Yes. Aggressive Energy applies to all instances of damage in an event.
