I return to this meditation time and again over time. I suffer from anxiety. Your words, when I can remind myself "It's just a feeling" tide me over, allow me to freak out a little less, until I can sit to do this practice again. Knowing that I have this practice led by you to access, a place I can go to, take this feeling to - fear and et al - is endlessly valuable. Many Thanks, Priya

Esther, thank you. This was a more concentrative sit than my morning practice. It was helpful, and now, I will work this into a regular routine; morning and evening sit. Once again, thank you. This was 7 years ago that this video was posted, and I'm new to this channel, so if you're still around, Namaste.

I felt a knot in my chest and throat when I asked what 'this' was about. I sat with it for a while and it lessened. Was feeling so restless and frustrated a short time ago, this has really helped. Thank you ❤️

Wow. I decided to try this in the morning and was not expecting to have tears effortlessly rolling out of my eyes. I've always contributed the underlying restlessness with tension in my back but when you addressed the heart and stomach it immediately clicked. Thank you so much this was incredibly healing 🙏🏼

This is really great. I actually cried while doing it and just let it happen. By the end of the meditation I felt relief of tension in my stomach area and energy flowing again. Thank you so much, I will do it again!

Thanks for this warm short meditation. Just what I needed. A few years ago I had a severe depression from which I recovered with the help of plant medicines .ik ayahuasca and meditation. That's why I now work as a microdosing coach based in Amsterdam to guide others on this beautiful but sometimes difficult path. In this stage of my life I feel like I'm heading towards depression again. Finding it difficult to feel all there is to feel and embracing it. Covid is not helping either. I know how it works by now. But this meditation was a friendly reminder. Thank you!

I can't say how wonderful this was. My mind has been very restless lately, yet by the time I opened my eyes they were streaming with tears and my body felt much less pained. Any time I have issues from now on I will come back to this video until I'm able to do it on my own. Thank you, Esther.

This is an amazing practice. I cried also. Both times. I had a scary experience as a patient in an operating room. I just got home and started unraveling. Fear is the driver, and manifests itself in the physical. I love" letting it be there, giving it space". I like stepping away from the story and going to the core. I am thankful to have released most of it. I will do another session tonight, but present state is calm, which is a good thing. Thankyou Ester.

Esther, thanks so much for this video. I have been practicing yoga for many years but have never done any meditation. Your instructions are very powerful while at the same time simple and kind. I had tears running down my face during this short video and felt a much needed release from the mental weight I carry with me everyday that I have been ignoring. I realize now that I have been scared of meditation because I was scared to let myself feel fully. I cannot thank you enough. Namaste.

I had a very restless night over something at work. I felt so angry...then I did this this morning and I realized when you got to the part where you said, "maybe you feel fear, maybe you feel small..." and I realized that was it. The treatment by my co-workers has me feeling small. Once I acknowledged that and wept, I felt the feeling go. Now...I just have to get through the day with 2 hours of sleep!! Thank you

Thank you Eshter, during this meditation I actually end up in tears....
I think that's a good thing since this meditation is about confronting
the upset feeling which is in my case.
It kind of helped! I feel more relaxter so thank you for that!

I don't usually have problems falling asleep at night, but for the past year & a half I often wake up in the wee hours of the morning w/ my mind racing & can't get back to sleep. I've been so sleep deprived at times I can't even think during the day. I've been on sleep meds, but I don't want to be on them forever. I'm going to try this next time it happens.

Hi Somelette! Sometimes fear comes up when we 'dig' into what we really feel. Especially when we sense an underlying emotion that might surface…and that's OK. The panic is just a voice telling you "not to go there" because you believe you cannot deal with that emotion. So just go gently. Keep it light. Like you are dipping in the water with just one toe instead of jumping right in. And remember: all that is felt is already there, and already experienced..so there's nothing to fear! Esther
