Gotta put it all into perspective: This is an extraordinarily obscure track, from a relatively obscure "band", in a very, very obscure subgenre of metal. I love Jake Roger's earlier works but absolutely loathe Visigoth; wish he kept to Folk/Melodic Black. Visigoth is just so fucking generic, even if it's technically accomplished... "WOOOH, nerdy power metal! No one has done THAT before!" Ugh. I'm still hunting for his really old MySpace demos. I know they're out there on someone's hard drive, but they're totally scrubbed from the net.
This is sounding great, the production is rougher than Ashen Eidolon but everything is still sounding clear and the cleans have a majestic quality to them.
