What to do when winning a lane:
    - The enemy should get NO xp: you cut all the trees with quelling blade so they can't leech xp
    - Last hit from AHEAD of the creep wave where the other carry can't even get close to the wave
    - Buy boots and no more stats (stats is for contesting last hits, for uncontested last hits you don't care)
    - Kill their tower efficiently by creating a triple wave. The trick is to wait for the siege creep wave, ONLY kill the range creep and nothing else, and a triple wave will build up
    - After you won the lane, TANK up. The only way they get back to the game is killing you. For example, dragon lance, BKB as a viper

    • @ArkAngelHFB
      @ArkAngelHFB 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

A lot of this applies to LoL as well...
Wave management is a little harder since you can't kill your own minions to control said waves... but knowing how to play around the tower minions is the same.
Knowing how to zone enemies is also key.
Buying boots to control spacing more when stronger is also key in lane.
Getting tanky when ahead and those behind being forced to build glass cannon is also common.
For all these games diverged and developed over the last 10 years...
They still are not that different.

He's basically talking about macro game. Understanding your objectives and item timings pushes you up several ranks if you can get that right. You can beat a team more mechanically skilled than you if you just have a better understanding of macro game. Players that don't take objectives will basically wait for you to get enough farm to win the game. And that's the whole point of this video. The game was way harder than it needed to be because they played safe just to get a higher networth and then ended up giving back a lot of their advantage to the morphing. This can be game losing and without macro understanding you won't even realize you're about to lose.

Every right click on the ground, every last hit you get, when to farm, when to push or when to rosh is very crucial. Its like each movement you're making should be calculated. @@dota2go802 well almost. I'd say 1 false move MORE than your opponent the worse it is for your chance of winning. obviously the draft determines how unforgiving mistakes can be but overall I think players struggle to progress because the are trying to hard to improve small details while forgetting the basics. in other words there are so many guardians that can manta dodge a projectile but don't know when to pull a wave.

    • @dota2go802

@@clarkmeyer7211 thats literally my point tho but I agree with that. I dont know if tournaments are the reason for this. I mean take a look.. Most people who watch pro scene are playing the game as well. Whats the impact? Only major movements will be remembered. But they dont know how important these pros doing before amd after engaging to team fights. They never recognize that theres a pattern for better farming like stacking your own if you are aware of the timer. very small detail like that can make a huge difference between good and bad players. It may not secure your mmr but it will sure improve your skill as a player. If you do it constantly youll win most of the games than losing.

I was actually wondering why no one ever talks about killing the range creep on a lane to create a heavy push. Very easy way to ensure that the other two lanes are being pushed while grouping to push one lane with aegis or using it defensively while the opponent is grouping for a highground push. I've been doing it for years, while playing support yet never heard about it from any guy posting video guides on youtube. Is it that precious to share with others?!

The plan is to *not* lose creeps to the *enemy's creep wave*. You basically buy time for another wave to arrive, effectively making it a "double wave".

i remember watching some top play video for league (like 10 years ago) where one of the plays was someone slow pushing a lane by killing only part of the creeps in the wave and then joining a team fight, making so it triple/quadruple waved and did a lot of structural damage if unanswered. The idea of slow-pushing is quite mind-blowing if you never considered it before.
The doubling/tripling of waves is a pretty useful tool for an offlaner especially against non-wave-clearing safelane heroes who can get overwhelmed under their tower. It's frequently seen with timbersaw since he tanks the wave but doesn't push it that fast before level 6 and it means if the carry doesn't aggro the creeps back multiple times for their tower to help them clear the wave, they end up getting overwhelmed.

Dude's really humble, and you can feel his passion about the game, plus the 200IQ on top. I've seen other top tier players trying to explain mechanics, and they often come off as egocentric, or on a high horse. Like, bruh we don't have the time to play 10 hours per day every day and try and test every single mechanic or learn every little detail in game. As someone from SEA that supported EG from before AUI's time up to now. I'm really happy how he mentioned SEA players would've known how to play the scenario. Thanks AUI 💕

You don’t know it well enough .. you think you do. The games at divine 5 bracket is totally totally very different from any other bracket based on the way they play. In a divine 5 game they start kicking the pos1 from his lane at 6 minutes into the game and then occupy the jungle so there’s no space for the pos1 to farm. Then they will slowly do that and they are in the right part of the map till you realiZe that shit you picked the wrong hero for the game and it’s over . 15 min the game is over and they are pushing high ground . Game ends in 25 minutes . While in divine 1-3 bracket there’s still this idea of pos1 can safe nc till 20 minutes then while thr offlaner, mid and support will run around making space and game ends in 40 minutes .

@@johnnychannarong5484 I was just watching some Immortal game previously it's actually 60min long 🤣
By your logic those divine player wouldnt Know about high tier neutral gear 🤣
Great job in dishing myth to make u looks cool..
Ppl. Just take advantage because most. Ppl just an ancient from sea like me.. So what do I know.. I am ancient 🤣 they are divine..
But we sometimes meet few. Divine player.. But the ironic part sometimes. There is legend player that actually play better.. What they need to. fix the most is that match making system.. Making u stuck in ur bracket because for. Every win u get.. There's always more. Free. Lost

Guys the difference between someone becoming a pro or just another high rank scrub is the ability to think for yourselves and adapt. Before any of these tips and strats were on yt someone thought of it by themselves beforehand. Then others started to notice how good their idea is. Sooner or later you have a new meta. Problem nowadays is too many people only copy what they see pros or top streamers do and harshly oppose any new build or style that isn't already meta. The amount of amazing new builds I've created that literally counter each new meta with my own free thought that have been shunned by high rank tards only cuz everyone else follows a specific guide for that one hero is amazing. It's funny cuz usually the next day I'll see some big youtuber put out a vid on almost the same exact build I made a week before then all of a sudden everyone thinks it's the best fucking idea ever and everone is using it now hahaha. Then when I make a newer build thats even better than the older one, people get pissed cuz I'm not building my old build that has now been put on yt for all the sheeple to copy. But yee not saying I'm pro but alot of these things he explains in the video you should be able to figure out your own from just playing the game and if you need to wait for some dude on yt or twitch to come out and tell you what they figured out months ago then don't expect to be pro in dota at least and for the love of God humble yourself. Don't flame others for not following the crowd. Especially if all you can do is copy what others do. You will never be one to be remembered that way. Even if you are some how it'll literally be "Look!thats the dude that copied that other dude but does it better!" Super epic right. You'll Just be another CLONE of the person your copying. Very ever unlikely to ever surpass the one you copy. Don't copy others as a religion. Unless its Jesus. Always copy Jesus. Unless he looks like Jesus but isn't. It could be an alternate. Be very careful. Don't talk much. You may reveal your fear. This message is brought to you by Kellogs frosted flakes. Theyrrreeeee Great!
