Hommie I know tell me about it 🤦🏼♀️ I’m hoping that 16 hours a day under a grow light will be able to supplement 6 hours of sunlight….. we’ll see. If it doesn’t it’s going to be a very sad reluctant move to the patio.
@@RoseRenovations You never know until you try. Faith was able to make it work in her bedroom. The biggest thing is having enough room for the roots and a tray underneath to catch excess water.
I love the corner! I’d be tempted to put a pothos in a hanging basket and train it to train the walk/ceiling for a bit more colour :)I love the lamp with that chair!
I love the texture and coziness of the new corner-as well as the red nails! You're looking like I did when Dad and I got married! Anywho, with the lamps on the dresser, the reason they send two different-sized rings is that the smaller one is for the top, and the larger one goes on the bottom. This size difference creates a cone effect versus a cylinder shape when they are both the same size.
You two are hilarious. Great transformation. I love the little green lamps and framed TV. The plant looks really good on your porch or inside by the porch. I'd keep it out to get sun. The chair looks adorable with that floor lamp. When you put up some art that corner will be finished or maybe a small framed mirror in wood over the back of the chair and art where you had the plant?
Is the filter material that was put in the basket or the basket itself waterproof? If not, I would suggest putting the planter on something like a big saucer or plant stand roller (anything that isolates the basket from the floor) just to prevent any moisture going from the soil, through the basket and onto the floor. Otherwise there's a risk of water damage appearing on the floor, given time.
You’re totally right! I was looking for one at Walmart the other day and came up dry. I’m still on the hunt for one. In the mean time, very slow watering.
I feel like the editing was really good in this video! I liked the cuts for the comings and goings. It may be extra work but I think if the series is about renovating the house and following along that the videos description should have links to all of the items bought and used that you like and make the final renovation! I know that for some of the sites if people use your link to buy stuff you can get a kickback.
Thanks for the feedback! I was worried that the coming and going shots were adding too much fluff so I’m glad that that’s not the case! I’ll have to link some stuff :)
I love the before and after. Repeating the shot of getting the scissors in the exact way 3 times was really funny! It's always Tims fault! (just kidding haha)
A Bauhaus or vintage abstract print (there are many links on Pinterest) with a minimalist frame might be a nice touch to blend the antique chair with the more whimsical and creative elements (existing art above the bed). The chair reminds me of the 1960 Time Machine Film.
A nice small space alternative to a side table would be a tiny shelf, either in clear acrylic or gold. They're perfect to put down a single cup of coffee - or a pretty watering can.
I had the same thought too. Except the fabric isn’t shaped that way and when I ordered another box of them they were all the same size :/. I just got the wrong parts
I love the corner and the texture that the plant basket adds to it. Also, I would totally watch a compilation video of Kirbie just eating boxes. 😂 He and Reggie are the cutest!
Haha no it’s a saying. Like “F you and the horse you rode in on.” It’s a very common saying over here. It’s in reference to whoever made the prices of the lamps.
Filming and editing going to get the scissors three times during this video was a nice touch. Well done. Keep up the good work.
Haha thanks!
🤣 The label says full sun so sure lets put it in the bedroom

@@RoseRenovations You know I’m your ride-or-die, hommie!
How long did the tree last before it shed leaves😂

Hahah how funny! For the lamp shades I thought the same thing at first too but I ordered another set and they were all the same size :/

I love these ideas! I definitely think I want to do some artwork there 😊

I know some creators also link their equipment as well

Thank you! I always forget those scissors! It’s the back and forth you guys don’t see. Somehow I think I can find a way to blame Tim for this one 😉😂

That’s a great idea! I’ll have to look into maybe some of that modern stuff. IKEA has a lot of options
Love the progress!! What is next on your list of things to "change"?
I have no idea! I’ve got soooo much stuff to do in there. I might make a built in book case in the living room soon! And thank you!
where do i put my coffee while reading my book in the corner?🥰
If only I had a few more inches! I totally would have put a little table and a book and maybe a small watering pot for the tree 🤔😊
@@RoseRenovations your video's make my day.

@@MissEmucci Such a great idea!
Pretty sure you are supposed to use the small circle at the top and the large one at the bottom. The lamps are cone shaped. 😂

Form = function, if something is the shape that you like, but the colors wrong, change it to the color you want. DIY spray paint or chalk paint.
That’s a good way of looking at it 🤔😊
Lamp shades a cone. Small circle on top big on bottom?
😂
I had the same thought too… I ordered another set and they were all the same size. Mine had the wrong parts :/. All good though!

Haha thank you! I should just do a video of all Kirby opening packages. Like a Christmas special 😂he can open his presents
Hold up..did he just say GFY, you & your mom? Is this how a loving couple talk to each other. So disrespectful! 🚩

@@RoseRenovations Ok, whew! I'm glad that you didn't fall for the high price tag.
@@rachaelbruesch6306 Oh, heck no! That price tag is some shady business!
