I got the bundle! I love gems. I’ve been obsessed since I was a little kid. I *had to* have this. I’m super excited to bring Birthday Brat & The Price is Alexandrite with me over Christmas to do my nieces’ nails in their birthday month colors. I myself am a July baby and you *crushed* it on Ruby, Madly, Deeply. I also love that you went for depth with Garnet. My big bro is a January baby & our mom has a few pieces of Garnet & Ruby jewelry & when you look at a high quality garnet next to a high quality ruby of the same cut, you can really see the color difference. The candy apple 🍎 red of the ruby vs the claret red of the garnet is a striking comparison IMHO. Fun facts: Claret red is a wine red but with a distinct hint of purple so those who’ve said the garnet shade is too purple are wrong. I also love that some rubies can also hue pink and both rubies & sapphires can be found in a star version which is a polished cabochon that has a white, radiant star in the middle. It always blows my mind that rubies and sapphires are the same mineral at their core. If those reading this haven’t figured it out…
I bought the whole collection! Before they came in, I didn't think I'd love Birthday Brat and Crystal Mommy as much as I do! Super beautiful and a lot of fun to see lots of different formulas. I'd love to see some more frosted metals in the future 🫶 they're too gorgeous
Congratulations on the huge launch Cristine!! I remember how excited you were at your first HT launch. I still have the box and some of the original bottles! I am sad I missed the launch of the birthstone collection, but I was in the ER Not Dying. I did, however, manage to get the vanilla cake nail oil, so I'll just huff my nails as I recover lol. I'm doing much better now. Not fully great. But damn it's good to not be puking my guts out and be dangerously dehydrated.
In all fairness, a collection hasn't sold out this quickly since the early days so congratulations on your success and your rapidly growing community Cristine!
To be so real, I don't think I have ever witnessed a company ever even care about their customers experiencing FOMO. In fact, I feel they frequently *weaponize* FOMO. The fact you not only didn't do that, but are here addressing the 'situation', and did all you could to avoid it? That says enough about your character, and what Holo Taco stands for.
I'm still mad at myself for not December because as kept watching the video I fell in love with in it. And it was too late and I was very upset for not having faith in simply because tanzanite away is beautiful and wish I was able to get it

I was trying to buy some of this collection when it sold out and it disappeared from my cart and now that it's been restocked I got the shades I wanted yesterday! so happy 🩷🥰 I love supporting Holo Taco because I've been a fan of Cristine forever and it's so nice to be able to support a company that has ethics.
I was attending a family funeral on launch day, so I'm crushed I wasn't able to purchase anything... but I'm not mad. I ALWAYS set an alarm 5-10 minutes before the launch time, but life happens. I hope she restocks a lot of them, but people need to get some perspective and realize it isn't the end of the world if you don't have everything limited edition, or just everything you like in general.
We love you Simply, this was an amazing collection and people have no right no be upset, it's been years since something sold out during stream, and compared with the first birthday polish, this one lasted waaaay longer

I was just as surprised as everyone else when Ben popped in to let Cristine know that things were selling out 😱 There are a lot of reasons beyond the brand's control for why some people missed out, like natural disasters in the South. Two hurricanes hit us here in Florida, within two weeks of each other. The Birthstone Collection dropped literally an hour after we got power back on 😅 but some friends of mine managed to nab me a few, and I was really happy with that! I feel like, unlike other brands, Cristine actually cares about her customers and genuinely feels bad that people missed out. That just makes me love Simply & HoloTaco even more! I'm sure we'll ALL be grateful for anything that manages to get restocked 🙏💜 Thank you Cristine, fr your passion in making nail polish, and your dedication to your customers & fans!
Also the fact this released right along with Wicked coming out in theaters with Emerald City, Ruby, Madly, Deeply; and Birthday Brat (hot pink antitheses to the green for Glinda) this release came at a perfect time
I was lucky and got the full set... I cannot choose favourites because they are ALL SO STUNNING!! And I am a very mood dependent polish-wearer (rather than seasonal) so this collection really lets me go crazy!!

Me: I was born in August and I don't like green/yellow nail polish. Change my mind! Simply: "comes out with Peridon't bother me" Me: "falls in love and purchases instantly" This polish caught me off guard how stunning it is in the sunlight.
I was sad kind of upset when I had the whole bundle in my cart and then it was sold out before I could buy it. And the spesific shades I really wanted were the ones sold out. And there is no quarantee those ones will restock, I might miss them all together.
Usually LE doesn't get restocked. And usually LE are around for more than a day. It sold out in matter of hours. I'm a collector and missing out due to something out of my control made me really sad especially when it was same day that I went to get it instead of immediately. However I understand 🤷♀️ she can't see the future
Birthday Brat might be my favourite polish ever, and I didn't think I'd like it that much based on the photos and the fact that it's not a colour I usually go for...boy was I wrong, she's gorgeous!!! Even got a compliment at work which is very rare 😅
I was the same way about Frozen Benanas. My first ever frosted metal and I fell instantly in love. Not a color I ever wear, but she was gorgeous and the compliments were constant. I can't wait to wear Birthday Brat. Gonna be another stunner.

Yes! I love birthday brat sooo much!!!! I originally wanted tanzanite away, emerald city, gosh garnet, and birthday brat. I only got birthday brat but it’s so perfect that I wish I had a backup polish! it is so beautiful!!! 😻 I have been looking for a pretty sparkly hot pink that wasn’t too cold and wasn’t too warm and this one is the absolute perfect shade. It made my whole week!! I’m obsessed 😍
I can't lie as a garnet person I was a little disappointed that the garnet shade had more brown undertones rather than a true deep blood red, but seeing it in other lighting does save it a bit for me :o
When I put it on the other day I was also disappointed but then while I was at the hospital it had such a gorgeous vampy red shimmer! It changes so much based on lighting

Im surprised that its emerald over topaz. I think topaz is one of the most unique shades in the collection and the emerald one seemed the most boring to me
For anyone trying to make Black Aussie Opal Nail Art try this! 1. One coat black as base. 2. Any Unicorn Skin/Flake top coat. 3. Glossy top coat 4. Another unicorn skin/flake 5. Glossy top coat 6. Last unicorn skin/flake 7. If you want add another glossy top coat! 😂 This makes a cool layered display and a bit bulky but it looks cool!
I’m so happy the HT team was able to restock. I got all the colors I wanted and doubled on my faves. I’m a December baby and tanzanite is not only my favorite gemstone but also that was my favorite shade.

I’m late to the party, and I have to say I’ve been absolutely enjoying each and every one of my holo tacos. I know some people were upset about October but I think it’d be beautiful that at some point in time you develop a black Opal inspired nail polish. It sounds a bit complicated, but those stones are absolutely stunning and if someone can do it it’s you! ❤❤❤

I have been watching launch streams for years, it honestly felt like it's been a LONG time since everything sold out in one day. I think you and HT have done a great job at expanding stock to reduce FOMO. This was a wonderful collection I'm not surprised that it blew expectations out of the park! 💕 (Also, petition for a spyglass restock for all my opal truthers out there. It's my fav opal looking polish as someone who prefers blue opal. Us October babies ALL deserve to be birthday brats! 🩵🔍)
Gotta say that was a fun stream to catch - I also ended up getting the Top 3 polishes just by chance, as well as the new vanilla nail oil. My roommate LOVES Emerald City after a 1 coat test last night when I showed her that, The Price Is Alexandrite, and Tanzanite Away (also with phone flash demoing my Halloween mani of Electrostatic on my thumbs, Zyler The Cat on my middle fingers, and Orange Drink on all of my other fingers). Of the ones I didn't get, I hope Birthday Brat and Ride Or Diamond come back too! Wish I could've afforded more of the collection!
I just got the collection today from the restock! Wearing Peridont Bother Me. It was so hard to pick what to wear first. FYI I would have loved a collection box to keep them all in.
I'm a high school teacher and one of our students is turning 18. Her parents said no to just giving her gift cards. She asked me and one of my co-teachers what we got for 18 and my CO-teacher has a 20yo daughter so what she gave her daughter. She gave her daughter a nice birthstone necklace lol
I was lucky enough to get the full set before it sold out. Still waiting for it to arrive because USPS decided to hold onto it forever but it’s slowly moving. I’ve missed out big launches in the past and it’ll be okay. I understand it can be frustrating but 1. Anyone who knows Cristine a bit, knows she hates creating FOMO and in a perfect world every collection would be in stock all the time & 2. Like it’s nail polish. It’s not something you need to survive so being mad because people liked the product more than anticipated isn’t sensible. This was a great launch for Holo Taco and Cristine and I really hope she didn’t like the small amount of people who were actually upset get to her. As a fellow October baby I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the pink. You tend to see most things go the Opal route, so to see the alt stone being used was actually quite lovely ^-^ I didn't get a chance to buy any of them but the Alexandrite was amazing and I would definitely order it if it came back ♥
I'm not much of a brown nail polish girlie, I'm more of a bright and colorful girlie, but I want the Topaz Tears formula in its whole own collection of different shades XD

As a June baby I agree alexandrite is a more interesting colorway than pearl BUT it would be cool if you did a DIY pearlescent polish by combining other holo taco polishes, like you did with the opal

When I was a kid I got my ear pierced and you got your starter earring included, choices were either plain metal or birthstone, but my birthstone was green and I wanted HOT PINK and the lady at the store wouldn’t let me get the stone I wanted cos it wasn’t my birth stone 😂, so I think it’s illegal guys to use a birthstone that’s not yours.

Love January, March (will be a nice winter colour), June, and December. Tanzanite Away I feel like it would make an easy base for a starry night/ galaxy nail look. You could do a bundle of Ruby, Madly, Deeply; Emerald City; Ride or Diamond and Pop Rocker and it would be Wicked/Wizard of Oz themed.
The moment people stop thinking they are owed anything because they act parasocial towards a company owner that was a TH-camr in the past will be a moment we will be finally not having people acting ridiculous because of nailpolish. There is always a new polish coming out you can love. People need to chill instead of demanding things they are not owed from a stranger.
I managed to get in JUST before the last two sold out so I have crystal mommy and luckily my own birth month birthday brat, and I have to say I think the hot pink frosted metal is actually genuinely for realsies, one of my new favourite polishes
I wanted the emerald, ruby, and diamond shades so badly but had a busy day and missed the launch. I did manage to snag an Aqua, garnet, and tourmaline which are all stunning but I was still somewhat sad that I missed out on the other 3 I was dying to snag. Crossing my fingers they get restocked. 💛
I can see why people are upset. Its like, its 12 polishes, theres no way they'll sell out that quickly with so many options 😅. But it happens. I almost missed it myself by a half hour, and managed to snag the whole collection. I just hope whomever reads this and missed out doesnt feel left out and gets their individual shades restocked soon or possible dupes.
Even though I wish they would all restock. I also understand it's hard to restock with limited pigments. I, unfortunately, could not get them, I was working during the launch 😢
I remember getting my ears pierced at claires and my mom paid an extra like 20$ so i could get them with my birthstone instead of the regular clear diamond studs (also, im pretty sure NONE of the earrings were real stones, my parents paid 20$ for a different color glass 😅)
Peridont bother me is possible the first green shade I absolutely love. I’m late to the party, and I have to say I’ve been absolutely enjoying each and every one of my holo tacos. I know some people were upset about October but I think it’d be beautiful that at some point in time you develop a black Opal inspired nail polish. It sounds a bit complicated, but those stones are absolutely stunning and if someone can do it it’s you! ❤❤❤

I really like matte opal, it makes the flakes stand out more I think. I use Everything Taco but if I owned more unicorn skins I'd probably experiment.

I have been watching launch streams for years, it honestly felt like it's been a LONG time since everything sold out in one day. I think you and HT have done a great job at expanding stock to reduce FOMO. This was a wonderful collection I'm not surprised that it blew expectations out of the park! 💕
(Also, petition for a spyglass restock for all my opal truthers out there. It's my fav opal looking polish as someone who prefers blue opal. Us October babies ALL deserve to be birthday brats! 🩵🔍)
Gotta say that was a fun stream to catch - I also ended up getting the Top 3 polishes just by chance, as well as the new vanilla nail oil. My roommate LOVES Emerald City after a 1 coat test last night when I showed her that, The Price Is Alexandrite, and Tanzanite Away (also with phone flash demoing my Halloween mani of Electrostatic on my thumbs, Zyler The Cat on my middle fingers, and Orange Drink on all of my other fingers). Of the ones I didn't get, I hope Birthday Brat and Ride Or Diamond come back too! Wish I could've afforded more of the collection!

I was lucky enough to get the full set before it sold out. Still waiting for it to arrive because USPS decided to hold onto it forever but it’s slowly moving. I’ve missed out big launches in the past and it’ll be okay. I understand it can be frustrating but 1. Anyone who knows Cristine a bit, knows she hates creating FOMO and in a perfect world every collection would be in stock all the time & 2. Like it’s nail polish. It’s not something you need to survive so being mad because people liked the product more than anticipated isn’t sensible. This was a great launch for Holo Taco and Cristine and I really hope she didn’t like the small amount of people who were actually upset get to her. As a fellow October baby I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the pink. You tend to see most things go the Opal route, so to see the alt stone being used was actually quite lovely ^-^

As a June baby I agree alexandrite is a more interesting colorway than pearl BUT it would be cool if you did a DIY pearlescent polish by combining other holo taco polishes, like you did with the opal

When I was a kid I got my ear pierced and you got your starter earring included, choices were either plain metal or birthstone, but my birthstone was green and I wanted HOT PINK and the lady at the store wouldn’t let me get the stone I wanted cos it wasn’t my birth stone 😂, so I think it’s illegal guys to use a birthstone that’s not yours.

Tanzanite Away I feel like it would make an easy base for a starry night/ galaxy nail look.
You could do a bundle of Ruby, Madly, Deeply; Emerald City; Ride or Diamond and Pop Rocker and it would be Wicked/Wizard of Oz themed.
The moment people stop thinking they are owed anything because they act parasocial towards a company owner that was a TH-camr in the past will be a moment we will be finally not having people acting ridiculous because of nailpolish. There is always a new polish coming out you can love.
People need to chill instead of demanding things they are not owed from a stranger.

I wanted the emerald, ruby, and diamond shades so badly but had a busy day and missed the launch. I did manage to snag an Aqua, garnet, and tourmaline which are all stunning but I was still somewhat sad that I missed out on the other 3 I was dying to snag. Crossing my fingers they get restocked. 💛
I can see why people are upset. Its like, its 12 polishes, theres no way they'll sell out that quickly with so many options 😅. But it happens. I almost missed it myself by a half hour, and managed to snag the whole collection. I just hope whomever reads this and missed out doesnt feel left out and gets their individual shades restocked soon or possible dupes.

Even though I wish they would all restock. I also understand it's hard to restock with limited pigments. I, unfortunately, could not get them, I was working during the launch 😢
I remember getting my ears pierced at claires and my mom paid an extra like 20$ so i could get them with my birthstone instead of the regular clear diamond studs (also, im pretty sure NONE of the earrings were real stones, my parents paid 20$ for a different color glass 😅)
