Always makes me angry when they drag a queen's runways (Kate Butch in UK5 comes to mind especially) when their outfits are still tons more elaborate than queens in early seasons. Sadly the rich queens have set a benchmark and now you have to go way above and beyond if you want any hope of impressing the judges

I think what trips people up is that they assume "pay to win" means "you can only win if you pay", so because they're able to win some competitions without paying they think "well it can't possibly be pay-to-win"

@@mava4584 unfortunately, you can't do that. You'll be shown 2 outfits and forced to toot one of them, the one that isn't tooted is considered a boot lol.

I actually really want a proper better version of this game instead of whatever this was. Maybe an in-depth multiplayer mode where you can host or play seasons of drag race with real other people, instead of the small one that this game has? It would be so much better than an outfit simulator or whatever this game was 😭😭
And then like a dance dance revolution type thing for the dance challenges and maybe line memorisation for acting challenges where they give you multiple options for what line it was

okay but honestly the only reason to play this game is the toot and boot mode. That's the only area to really be creative
the only time i played this was on 2024 new years "day" (like 12am to 4am) and i got so addicted that i felt so guilty for not sleeping and had to delete the game

same, I got a new phone just before Thanksgiving, and I was able to download it (old phone wasn't compatible) and it was fun, but so time consuming ... especialy watching the adds. I already play a couple other games so I ended up uninstalling this one because it was just too much time

There are "RuPeter" badges in the game. You earn them for completing tasks and challenges. The more badges you have the better you do on the season leaderboard

I can't say much about this one but I played it for a bit and it's made by the same people who made the Kim K game i think and I was SOOOOO addicted to that game. For like a year and a half.
But the outfits in this game aren't super good unless you pay for stuff or devote your whole damn life to it 😭😭 and i don't mind paying for mobile games, I pay for VIP for both of the Obey Me games so really don't mind. But the sub is clearly in denial of how BAD the micro transactions are. It is for sure a cash grab and the seasons just preys on people's FOMO.

i just wanna say, ive had this game for a couple of months, and i have never bought anything wit real money for this game, but I still have been able to top leaderboards and earn money and clothing. like rn im in 2nd place for the SNG event. That's what I really like about this game is that i don't have to spend real money to achieve a lot in this game. and the best part is that the game is free and there is no ads (unless you want to double your earnings for 4 hours or earn some extra currency) that is like a gold mine for me (idk why i sound like im a salesperson😭)

Same, never spent a penny on it, still had fun. I've been playing for a while and I've definitely managed to get on a few leaderboards, not first place or anything but I think 5 at highest? And the rewards for that are quite great too

there’s so many outfit pieces, it would have made more sense to have other challenges represented like girl groups, acting, talent show, improve and have each piece of clothing change value depending on what the challenge was. similar to contests from pokemon, i could totally see like a leather jacket getting low points for a normal runway but high for a rock girl group. i think that would require too much effort on the developers part though, to change the values of the pieces for each.
I'm just spitballing here, but I feel like they could introduce additional mechanics to diversify the challenges. Like they could add "skills" that you can work on that are put towards different challenges. The werkstations already have themes, that could be something to work with. Choreography, sewing, reading, singing... There could even be minigames associated with each skill so you can work on them, and so knowing which maxi challenge is coming up you'd put your effort into applicable skills to better your chances of performing well! That would be a pretty major undertaking from a developer perspective but I think it would make the main game a lot more appealing.

the only part of this game that i dont really care for is (ironically) the main game, cuz im at the point where ive pretty much automated everything, but the free-time events and the challenge hub is so entertaining and fun

I used to be really addicted to this game until I discovered that the design of a legendary Michelle Visage piece (that I essentially paid for) was a rip off of one of my artist friends designs.
So long story short, some of the designs are likely to be stolen from independent queer artists who've never been compensated for this.

Idk how I never heard of this game. I watch a lot of content about the show in addition to the US seasons. When I saw the title, I assumed you were talking about an app that used to exist in the mid 2010s like Kardashian mobile game. The art styles look similar. 😮

I had one of the first drag race mobile games. 😂😂 it was bizarre and mostly a bubble-popping puzzle game with like Sharon and Chad giving you hints if you get stuck. So, so weird.

The concept of this game is one of my dream games, but I wish it was a computer game that you pay for once rather than a mobile game full of ads and micro-transactions. I would love to create my own character, create outfits that match said character’s persona, and play through various challenges. It would also be fun if you could interact with the bot queens and create friends and enemies, and if they could all have their own personalities and themes. I would likely be willing to pay, like, $40 for such a game.

Also, the gameplay of this one reminds me of the Nikki series of games (Love Nikki and Shining Nikki). They're not pay to win necessarily, but by god do they want you to spend money on pretty dresses. And yea, they also just require you to match tags and stuff.

I’ve been playing this game since the beginning of covid and I’ve won first multiple times. I’ve spent $2.99 once or twice but that’s about it lol. It’s definitely skill and collecting /upgrading the right garments. I hope one day they expand on the game more :)

Tbh I actually do like this game, though I will say that the main game is the least interesting part of it and basically just passively runs in the background while I'm doing the more fun parts, lol. I enjoy collecting and upgrading different items, and the somewhat recently added "toot and boot" feature is by far the best part because every day you get a new theme with NO tags where you just dress in whatever you like to fit the theme and people vote for each other's looks! And though you most definitely do need to spend money to top the leaderboards (especially on the timed events), you can still do quite well just through grinding. I regularly get in the top 10 on the weekly challenge and have gotten number 1 many times, without paying a dime. I think (?) they group people somwhat by their level there, I always get opponents who are somewhat near my level (never complete newbies like you show in your own gameplay) so there must be some system in place there. The seasons are honestly too easy/havetoo few levels, I always finish the 30 day season within less than two weeks.

Thankfully glitches have been working in my favour lol. I get rewards from the ads without them actually playing and there was one for the challenge tickets that I spammed to get more than I was supposed to (doesn't work for lipstick though). It was easy at first and got harder (obviously) but now the challenges have reset its easier again. Tbf I haven't played long so I guess we'll see how it goes

for the part when the subject is the online competitions and the competitiveness on the leaderboard : there's an apk file that hacks your game so you can have unlimited lipsticks werks and gems, which means that instead of farming things in the werkroom, you farm the clothes and develop them and all
