I absolutely love this coaster. I rode this one for the first time today. This was also my first looping coaster. I was absolutely terrified while going up the hill. But I ended up riding it again! It’s very very fun. And also a super smooth ride.
This was the first coaster i ever rode that had inversions. I remember being absolutely terrified as a kid riding this thing. Looking great though, especially for a 40 year old ride.
all been spinning- round and round and round, and round and round, round and round🎶🎶🎶life was about to start.. bought our tickets, stood in line, a rickety cart!🎶🎶
i thought this coaster would be scary, but honestly it’s not at all. super short ride but also fun! especially because there’s barely ever a line even on the busiest days in the summer!!
This was my first looping roller coaster and on the loops my head did kind of like go fowards a bit and made my head hurt but I learned that my head wasn't on the seat very good so it was still good, GREAT RIDE 💯💯💯💯
@@swiftly_urmom Apparently it's a book about some kids from Canada riding a roller coaster called "The Cyclone" though it's a completely different one from this. And they die, I guess. I don't know if it's a true story or what.
The teal color scheme looks Great, and I also think it's pretty cool that the loops and the Corkscrew elements doesn't have those ugly overhead track arch supports like the Corkscrew at Cedar Point. The Carolina Cyclone has a modern stream line look to it as well as The Canyon Blaster at Adventure Dome, with those very cool looking Arrow Trains. Wish Cedar Point had snatched up The Trains from Drachen Fire. They're so much more comfortable and ride better than the typical Arrow rolling stock Trains.
Made the mistake of trying to hold up my hands. Ending up getting whip lash and banging my head to the back of the seat. Had a headache for the rest of the day. Its also incredibly jerky, I don't know this one still exists.
I’m not a fan of coasters with inversions but I would go on this ride again. My first ever inverted coaster was at Disney World. I love this ride a lot even tho I went on it once.
Rode it in 2022 at Scarowinds, the harness kept locking down tighter and tighter. When the ride ended it was so tight I couldn’t hardly breathe. Was about to have a panic attack. Maybe I’m too old and fat 😂
I rode this thing again today and that ride was the last straw! Carowinds, I love you but this ride needs to be dismantled and replaced. My head got banged against the headrest at least 5 times and I will not be riding this coaster ever again.
This coaster has not aged well. While the new paint job is nice the coaster itself has gotten rough with time. I rode it back in August 2022 and my head was banging against the head rest and the ride was very rough. So I won't be riding this coaster ever again
I hate this couster i flet like i got shot in the head each loop it flet like i got hit in the with a baseball and it was to tite take down this ride even gold ruch wich did not have loops it still was beter
Spelling and punctuation, my guy. I'm normally not *that* much of a stickler about it, but when it gets to the point where I can't understand what you were trying to say, it's a problem.
This was my first looping coaster! This new teal coat of paint was a good choice.
Mine too
Me to
was it a good first looping coaster the only one i've road that gose upside down is after burn so is this a good one
@@tiffanyestelle2228 It's pretty good. The coaster isn't all that smooth, but it feels quick and the layout is nice! I would recommend it.
Yeah!! Great choice
Love the new teal color and the paint schemes on the trains!! Great new look for a classic coaster!!

Tick-a-Tick-a heard the crack! Down the drop now I know we’re never going back!
But what really happened what really happens aaAAAAHH
Yes I love all the rtc references here
I love that classic arrow lift sound
A great new look for the first ever 4 inversion roller coaster 💯
Those poor choir children
Lol I went with orchestra
I’m going to orchestra soon 😂
@@Chloe-i4rjust went😂
On the bus currently coming back from band, these riders were amazing

Those poor choirs students... :((
I started singing fall faire suite from RTC on this ride my last visit. It was fun. Even if i only rode it once
When the fall fair comes to town!!

One of the best arrow loopers for my money
This is literally my favorite coaster here at carowinds.
That’s very bold. Did you ride afterburner, intimidator, copperhead strike, or fury?
@@charismaticadventurer8448its my favorite. I've ridden CC over 250 times this year. It's just a experience you can't get on new coasters
Painful as hell
Very surprising to hear that the ride is super short and pretty painful
@@someonejust5062 it's gotten worse cause it uses Vortex trains from KI so it tracks worse because of the bigger wheel gap they have
Those new colors POP 😍
Love the new colours! I should start planning a trip because it's been too long since my last visit!
Very fun ride, it has some roughness but worth it honestly
Those poor St. Cassian choir kids 🥲🥲
what happened to them?

My fav aero looping coaster!
This is my favorite
I’m glad I got a ride in on the old yellow and blue paint but I just love the new look
i still love this ride
This is the most rollercoaster of rollercoasters I've ever seen
today my class had a field trip to carowinds and this was the first ride we rode
how lucky are you to be able to do that wtf (band trip?)

The drachen fire seats and harnesses are nearly identical to normal arrow trains
@@WCfanboy they are the exact same, infact the drachen fire trains use the same chassis of the other arrow trains
This was my first big kid ride when I got tall enough
I’m coming here tomorrow! I’m super duper excited… as long as it doesnt rain! Mom said it would :
I didn’t know there were cyclones in the Carolinas!

This is probably the second tamest coaster(not counting family rides) behind Goldrusher.
This will make you party like it's 1986.
Just got off this. First looper for me. I think I peed...but, I loved it 😄
I’m not a fan of coasters with inversions but I would go on this ride again. My first ever inverted coaster was at Disney World. I love this ride a lot even tho I went on it once.

Randy West ❤ Love Carolina Cyclone Roller 🎢 Coaster at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina USA 🇺🇲.
I do like the old paint more
be prepared the ride thrashes you around a lot hold on tight!!!
i am going to ride this when i go to Carowinds vid looks scary!!!
I’m gonna go on This during scarowinds since I didn’t get to this summer!
This was my first ever rollercoaster at Carowinds!
My first coaster with inversions
When I go to Scarewinds, should I ride this ride?
Incredibly rough with the old restraints, hoping that the new restraints will give a much smoother experience!
Rode this ride a few weeks ago, it’s pretty smooth imo
It felt like i was going to fly off of it when we went on those twists😭☠️
Can y’all add water around Carolina Goldrusher again 👉🏻👈🏻
Why is it so eerily calm and quiet
The front axis broke on the loop-de-loop sending the children flying to their deaths
With that fear-mongering lie you would make a great politician
@avg1005 do you not get the reference?
The smaller Arrow loopers, like this classic, aged so much better than the big loopers.
Other than loch Ness monster
The second coaster I’ve ever been on! I kinda passed out tho but it was my second one and it went upside down
Wish they kept the original color. It was my first loop coaster I got on
We were gonna go on the ride but when we got there the ride was closed I was so disappointed
Same
My uncle help build this ride .the corkscrew hurts my neck but I love this ride
This reminds me so much of the phantoms revenge at kennywood.
Identical layout to Python in Efteling
ik
wait is this the same track layout as canyon blaster in vegas?
This is truly an underrated Arrow coaster. Just stay away from the front row and you should have a great time! (Middle or back rows)
I got stuck on that ride yesterday lol
The loops gave me whiplash, not sure how anyone could like this coaster
Is the same coster of "Shaman" in Italy.
One of my bucket list rollercoasters 🎢
This one? Why?
@@mitchellries256 I have so many rollercoasters 🎢 I want to experience for the first time like this one here. So it’s in my bucket list

am i the only one that sees the goldrusher carts near the end and also this ride aged very well unlike the goldrusher and thunder road
Almost like canyon blaster adventuresome
I JUST WENT ON IT ITS SCARY
did they paint it?
When was this repainted?
I’ll admit, while the new color scheme looks great, it feels too similar to other rides like Flying Cobras or Fury. Still, looks better than ever!
I watch this for the lift hill ASMR
Its a good coaster but you need to change the restraints!
My first ever was the Afterburner, no (Ethan) it was not a good starter
This rollercoaster is identical to Python in the Efteling, Netherlands
Its ok but the corkscrews at the end gave me severe head banging but good job carowinds!
Same
Went on this, felt like I had to ask the Lord if this is how I die Lord why be left with no family and no friends 😕
dragon fyre but its blue and goes clockwise
I like the previous color scheme more, but I won't hurt your feelings.
The first time i went on this i buckled to far and could barely breathe safety first i guess😂
At first, I thought it was fun until I got to the part where it bangs your head around it hurts so bad now this is my least favorite ride I hate it.
This is exactly the same layout as that from the iconic coaster python in the Efteling Netherlands, that's older.
I rode this thing again today and that ride was the last straw! Carowinds, I love you but this ride needs to be dismantled and replaced. My head got banged against the headrest at least 5 times and I will not be riding this coaster ever again.
