Movies are stale because Hollywood gave up trying to cater to the older audience. Instead of finding fresh ideas, they find a fresh audience for the old ideas. They remake and remake for a perpetual teenage audience that's never seen the old stuff before. By the time people are 25, they've seen it all and a new group of teenagers takes their place and the cycle repeats.

There is also the fact that movies(but also) have become mostly a commercial product and lost its artistic aspect. IT is no longer about quality, about telling a good story or teaching something, it how much they made on the box office. This is why they keep on digging in the past to find old successful movies and remake them in the hope that their previous success will repeat itself, this is why they buy the copyrights of foreign successful movies also in the hope that they can copy their success in the north american market.

Battlefield 1 had black soldiers plastered all over it. Call of Duty WW2 has the option of playing as a black female soldier in the German Army. In fact it has women in all the factions. Mass Effect Andromeda Dev team was riddled with SJW's and I believe that was a contributing factor to its failure. The woman who went on the news saying she was raped online in GTAV is on the Dev team for Star Wars Battlefront 2 so expect SJW bullshit to flow in that game. Slowly but surely they creep into every form of entertainment and attempt to subvert it.
Agreed. One of the few exceptions is Mass Effect Andromeda, where they went full SJW and diversified their staff as well as the story. We all know the outcome.
And the push for diversity is one of the main reasons why Andromeda flopped, and likewise if it's pushed any further other games will flop too. The only reason why Battlefield 1 survived it's nonsensical exaggeration of WW1 diversity is because it was substantially better than other recent Battlefield/COD games in terms of gameplay, otherwise they would have definitely suffered like Andromeda did.
Films become classics because they address universal themes which impact the entire human race. Politics is too petty and transient to qualify as true art.

The gaming industry has overtaken Hollywood in revenue and as a gamer I understand why. Games don't ram left wing political crap down your neck, it's one of the few remaining forms of media where fans dictate what products the developers make and obvious political propaganda doesn't wash with gamers. Agreed. One of the few exceptions is Mass Effect Andromeda, where they went full SJW and diversified their staff as well as the story. We all know the outcome.
And the push for diversity is one of the main reasons why Andromeda flopped, and likewise if it's pushed any further other games will flop too. The only reason why Battlefield 1 survived it's nonsensical exaggeration of WW1 diversity is because it was substantially better than other recent Battlefield/COD games in terms of gameplay, otherwise they would have definitely suffered like Andromeda did.
Films become classics because they address universal themes which impact the entire human race. Politics is too petty and transient to qualify as true art.
They got a little bold with it and underestimated the public's insight.

Well said. I'm over 30 and I noticed a drop of quality of Hollywood movies. In the 80's and 90's there was much more good, original movies. Nowadays, there is almost nothing to watch.
