Yea they definitely need to and shouldve had a tutorial, my channel niche charged a lil but this vid helped a lot so i may do a even more depth version eventually and thanks man i appreciate the sub it actually means a lot bro
if u want i can give u the OEM tuning method used by most real life car manufacturers when building high performance cars. it makes tuning much faster and easier and it also gives better results. I have a 3 starred 1124HP Tempest Magnum that weighs 1600KG and is running 355mm tires in the rear. It runs a 9.350 @ 254.28 KPH 1/4 mile and a 22.852 @ 370.149 KPH mile. The decimals are because I converted from MPH to KPH.
Got me a Hinata Moon Mk1 with an AWD DOHC I4.... Makes around 1905 hp and 2315 n/m torque.... 1/8 mile in 5.184, 1/4 mile in 7.791, 1/2 Mile in 12.025 and 1 Mile in 19.148.... pretty beastly
I was able to get a hammerdal strale s tuned up with performance parts (which brought the horse power up to over 2000hp) to around 120% which was able to push 280 mph or around 450 kph and had an average 1 mile drag time of 19 seconds, and a 1/4 of 8 seconds. What I've found is that it tends to come down to your shift timing and trying to keep the flow of your gears as smooth as possible because if you shift at the wrong time youre car either grows up in rpms too slow if you shift too early, or it slows down a slight bit if you shift too close to the revlimiter. And as you said it takes quite a bit of trial and error to as well as some familiarity with your car to get the fastest times and tunes. Edit: corrected the cars name
if youre buring out right away its probably in your first few gears and also could be your titres try switching to slick tires then if youre still burning out mess with the 1st and 2nd gears till you find the spot you dont burn out
definitely does take a lot of trial and error fr but I think thats what makes it fun and like you said knowing your car and shift times it just makes it more personal to the car like "oh wow i know my car, this is my baby"
3 speed for all muscle cars over like 800hp. Nice final drive for 1/4 mile is 4.08 - 4.11. Just play with the final drives for longer races 1st gear 2.45 2nd 1.55 3rd 1.00
@@soldierx345 can u give me a time? i’ll run my tempest mag down the mile again to get results. also, make sure to subtract relation time from ur result to eliminate human error. i have 1124 HP, 355mm rear tires, and i weigh 1600kg
kph to mph isn’t hard to understand if you just know the areas of each like 180kph is about 120mph 100kph is 60mph 300kph is 180mph etc, it’s easy to understand
Yea i figured this out but it’s crazy the detail they put into it i built a drag car with smaller wheels at the front and bigger wheels at the bottom and it’s unstoppable! i actually plan on doing a more in depth video so I’ma do some research on irl drag racing if you’re into drag racing and have some knowledge I’d love to connect with it! Do you have discord?
Hey man I am gonna be completely honest with you, I actually converted my Channel to a sports gaming channel (Madden, NHL, NFL) typa vibe so I can really niche down and start developing a loyal returning fan base so I really havent even been on CMS but lemme think on it and then see what I can do im not sure when or if but if I decide to start making a video on it I will let ya know man, deal?
I actually havent played in a lil minute I gotta get back into my rebuilds and restores, gimme a lil to rebuild a car but id be down to beat you 👀 how are we going to race though? its single player unless they added multiplayer to drag racing finally which would be dope

I would say have them around 30-60 rpm difference so they shift faster then your ending gears further apart so you can actually reach your top speeds and perform well
You’re welcome and that’s a good idea! I have some videos planned to upload already but Ill try to start working on that and get it uploaded within the upcoming weeks! Just gotta find time to get on, build a car the record tuning it and everything
Ok ok ok you need to bee more realistic when it comes to actually turning a 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, or 1 mile race car 1 gear gets you off the line so you want it low and sift out at around 60 to 80 mph in the you want the final gear ratio low on short track like 1/8 & 1/4 and high final gear ratio on longer tracks 1/2 mile and 1 mile. Do some research on actual drag racing and get your hands dirty
Finally a vid regarding to Turing gets to the point and doesn't go bluh bluh bluh non stop talking rather than explaining 👍👍
Glad it helped bro!🙂 cant be wasting ya time
I'm definitely subbing, I appreciate for all the work you went through to get this. I'm struggling with tuning.

What does your gear tunning look like? I’m struggling to get this car launch smoothly & not burning out right away 😂

1st gear 2.45
2nd 1.55
3rd 1.00
not a good idea for longer races like the mile or track days. u need a properly tuned 9 speed for both those race types
@@literally_british_544 I've done decently with a 3.08 or 3.10 final drive on the mile with a 3 speed, 4.08 with a 6 speed is decent for track work

Nice tuning class thanks, but if you go into settings you can change your KMH to MPH for us American players

Ran a 22.84 with a 979hp salem spectre fastback, thats the fastest ive gotten with a car under 1000hp
Engine? Cobra jet?
I have a drag rating of 999 and over 2k HP but launching is bad because ill spin out and if I go easy on the Gas I won't win
Hey! Its probably the wheels that’s what happened to my camaro try putting all slick tires on it
that’s how normal drag racing is. you have to find the perfect rpm to launch at where it doesn’t bog but also doesn’t spin too much

I’m not to sure tbh I don’t play it on PC
Was that mph or kph u said miles but i see it reads kph?
I’m in the US brudda we use MPH so i say MPH but the game was in KPH (found out later you can change that)

Where du I get a dif ecu to tune
If a car is compatible for a ECU upgrade it’ll be in the advanced tuning shop
3.69 seconds 😂
How do you launch at 5k rpm?
Burn out, brake and gas same time but each car won’t be the same some shift gears at lower or higher rpms
i found out you can hold a on all the cars and it launchs at max rpm for that car
That’s actually good to know 👀i need to try this
