    Grant may I give you an important piece of advice? Purchase a big nylon strap for pulling things out. Welker Farms, Sonne Farms, Millenial Farmer all use them along with others and its way safer. If that chain breaks it’ll fly either front or back and it can kill. Also you can throw a blanket or even a jacket in the middle and if it breaks it’ll stop the chain from whipping. I don’t meant to sound like a know it all. Just don’t want to see anyone hurt. Thanks for sharing!!

    You could also get yourself a bush hog for the back of your tractor as well. You should get a heavy duty Yankum rope for things like this. Look up "Matt's Off-Road Recovery" to see how well they work. If I may make a suggestion for the trailer, you could get some clear paint and put some grit in it and put it on the surface of the trailer so you can get better traction when it's wet.

    I know this is an old video by now but just a tip from a guy from Utah that deals with slippery icy snowy Dex loading equipment all through the winter out here in the Rocky Mountains having a five gallon bucket of ice melt will save your life. When you know you're going to be loading equipment on your deck and weather like that spread out the salt about a half hour before you're going to load. And the salt will also act as grip for the track tracks stupid talk to text

    @joe_preston 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Grant, unless you have tons of brush that's 4" or less and still standing I wouldn't worry about mulching. You will be time and money ahead to stack and burn. Look into a Jenkins grapple and that Kubota do more than with the puller and grapple combined!

    To each their own but I bought a track loader and cleared my farm. It came in handy for a lot of other things. I got a Cat track loader stuck in a ditch like that. If you hook a chain to a loader arm and gently get it turned sideways you can drive it out.

    Iv put up 2 buildings
    1st one was a Menards building kit they deliver the whole kit to your location it can be done with basic tools and 4 guy can have it up and tin in a about week week and half depending on size and nice part about it is the inside u can do at your own pace and make it what you want
    2nd building we found a place here in Nebraska that makes premade buildings and they hauled it in in 4 parts and it just bolted together and we just had to insulate it and run power for it

      Awesome man! Quick question- Do all guys that run Mulcher heads/rent mulcher heads have a bulletproof glass door on the skid? Was thinking that may be an issue of it breaking all the time.

    • @trev9177
      @trev9177 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@granthilbert5632 yes! They offer a replacement glass that is way more re-enforced so for the debris flying around or possibly fly back doesn’t shatter and dismember the operator! I would recommend not running it until getting the thick impact resistant glass first! But when we do the installs usually someone buys the machine with the head we install the glass at the same time! You shouldn’t have an issue getting the glass but a good idea maybe get another door with the glass out into it then you can swap between both doors when needed not having to touch the glass all the time!

    You should check what Cole the cornstar did to his trailer. He had the same problem trying to get the skid steer on the trailer in wet/freeze temperature so he made a rack out of angle iron that works great.
