The Zoro jumping through the rocks with king dragons in the back looked spectacular it reminded me so much of Malenia with the flower spores from elden ring and how I thought a fight would look with her in a cutscene
I just love the poetry of their branching difference. Their stories meeting their captains are near identical. Their captains saved them. But the way they developed differed. Because their captains' final goal is different. In a sense, in this combat, the only ones who fought are not only Zoro and King's two ideals and power, but also Luffy and Kaido's goals. Luffy's goal is larger than life and Zoro believed it so he grew stronger to support it. Meanwhile Kaido's goal stagnated and, in turn, King's power also stagnated.

It'll always be hilarious how people try to put Kidd and Law over Zoro when: 1) Zoro was constantly hurting Kaido on his own Pre-ACOC whereas Kidd and Law in a TAG-TEAM needed their awakening to finally hurting Big Mom (which they couldn't even land without each other's help). 2) Zoro unlocked the exact same ability that allowed Luffy to 1v1 a Yonko. Hence Oda specifically making his opponent someone who laughs off attacks that even yonkos are hurt by. 3) Kidd and Law couldn't even actually KO Big Mom with their own attacks. They needed a ring-out victory PLUS conveniently existing bombs to barely cheese out a win since their own attacks weren't good enough. 4) Big Mom didn't even use Advanced Conqueror's which is confirmed strong enough to oneshot Kidd. 😂

Absolutely amazing episode. Toei has been on fire with Sanji and Zoro, and even parts of Franky's, Robin's, and Jinbei's fights. Luffy and Kaido's finale is truly going to be unprecedented if what we've seen so far is any indication. P.S. Zoro is my favorite character and I love seeing him get the respect he deserves, but I think we should pump the breaks on the "he's the strongest right hand" talk. Now that we know Shanks' higher ups are literally the only strong guys in his entire fleet, I have to assume Benn Beckman is an absolute monster.

Fun fact, King's last attack would do nothing to Katakuri since he has logia properties and King can't add haki to his fire attack since it was already confirmed you can't use haki on a fire attack when Kinemon was able to cut Kaido's blast breath, he shouldn't be able to cut that if Kaido can coat his attack with haki but it's not possible to do that, more example that you can't add haki to natural elements is when Kizaru attacked Marco his lazer went through Marco's body.
Katakuri’s future sight is so advanced he knows we’re attacks will land before the user has even thought about using the attack yet. King would never hit him.
Kizaru actually injured Marco, but he regenerated. Also, I believe haki can be added to elements because Kixaru can make his light into a solid light sword.

I had to watch this ep like three times, honestly thought they weren’t gonna go this hard for zoro. In my head canon this officially puts Zoro as the second strongest in the crew behind luffy. Without question. I feel like this is what Oda wanted the fight to be and just couldn’t put all of the extra stuff in the manga while staying on track for his timeframe.
Ben Backman will beat Zoro. So will probably the three old guys. With the rest, unless the Gorosei or Holy knights are top tiers, nobody is beating current Zoro
The music score at the end... they put the "end of section" / "now to commercial" sound way, way at the in end in a orchestal epic version of it after Zorri cuts King. This battle got me all emotional Zorro had found to manuefer in the air by using his sword (always thought that was a weak spot). Understanding Enma... I'll be the King of Hell. Will that be his new name now instead of bountyhunter. I think he deserves it! Got me some Naruto vs. Pain vibes too... but even more intense.

1 thing i would like to point out is that in the manga after sanji got his germa genes powerboost he dispatched queen rather easy like he didn't struggle much in the fight. king is way stronger then queen but as the manga stated for zoro he almost couldn't beat king and had to dig deep. oddly thats the things the anime did different, sanji struggled more with queen in the anime and zoro at the end seems a bit more easy going
The thing is even luffy and lucci couldn't do shit to a Seraphin, who isn't even half of terrifying as king is That was the case with zoro before he knew his weakness The attacks which hurt even kaido were useless against king Meanwhile same queen was getting hurt from a slap of chopper The difference was too much

Fun fact, King's last attack would do nothing to Katakuri since he has logia properties and King can't add haki to his fire attack since it was already confirmed you can't use haki on a fire attack when Kinemon was able to cut Kaido's blast breath, he shouldn't be able to cut that if Kaido can coat his attack with haki but it's not possible to do that, more example that you can't add haki to natural elements is when Kizaru attacked Marco his lazer went through Marco's body.

Kizaru actually injured Marco, but he regenerated. Also, I believe haki can be added to elements because Kixaru can make his light into a solid light sword.

I had to watch this ep like three times, honestly thought they weren’t gonna go this hard for zoro. In my head canon this officially puts Zoro as the second strongest in the crew behind luffy. Without question. I feel like this is what Oda wanted the fight to be and just couldn’t put all of the extra stuff in the manga while staying on track for his timeframe.

This battle got me all emotional Zorro had found to manuefer in the air by using his sword (always thought that was a weak spot). Understanding Enma... I'll be the King of Hell. Will that be his new name now instead of bountyhunter. I think he deserves it! Got me some Naruto vs. Pain vibes too... but even more intense.

1 thing i would like to point out is that in the manga after sanji got his germa genes powerboost he dispatched queen rather easy like he didn't struggle much in the fight.
king is way stronger then queen but as the manga stated for zoro he almost couldn't beat king and had to dig deep.
oddly thats the things the anime did different, sanji struggled more with queen in the anime and zoro at the end seems a bit more easy going
