    3 major differences btw type 2 and type 3
    *Cell surface bound and atigen ab complement system with soluble antigen
    *complement proteins are synthesize in small amount in 2 and in large amount in 3
    *clinical symptoms corresponds to tissue on interacting with antibody in type 2 and in type 3 it is due to deposition of immune comples (ag ab )

    The differences between type 2 and 3, are: complement proteins are synthesize in small amount in 2 and in large amount in 3, clinical symptoms corresponds to tissue on interacting with antibody in type 2 and in type 3 it is due to deposition of immune comples (ag ab ). And the inmune complexes get in the blood vessel, depending in different features: the size of the inmune complexes, the isotype of the Ig, characteristics of the blood flow, the quantity of the inmune complexes and the antigen load (which is possitive).

    Great Video. But i have a question for you.
    Please you made a statement at 4:09-4-11 minute that DNA is cationic.
    I only Know of DNA being anionic from the peripheral phosphate groups. So why did you made that statement that DNA is cationic? And for that case of me knowing DNA is anionic, there would be repulsion between it and the anionic basement membranes.
    Can you clarify what actually makes the dna bind to the basement membrane even though both are anionic. What really happens. I need an answer for this please

    • @doofenshmirtz4474
      @doofenshmirtz4474 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      in type 3 hypersensitivity antibodies (IgG/IgM) attach to soluble antigens forming immune complexes that are circulant in the blood. however, in type 2 hypersensitivity tissular/cellular antigens.
      So in both hypersensitivities, there is the formation of antibody-antigen complexes, except un HS3 the complexes are circulant in the blood (immune complexes).
      I hope I helped a little, English isn't my first language x)

    The post streptococcus glomerulonephritis comes under type 3 hs but my question is in this condition antigen is already bound to cells of kidney,shouldn’t it be considered as type 2 bec like u said immune complexes are not considered if antigen is bound to cells .?Anyone has answer

    • @muhammadmuaziqbal
      @muhammadmuaziqbal ปีที่แล้ว

      Antibody is bound to streptococcal antigens and the complex get deposited in the glomeruli. It is not type 2 because streptococcal antigen is not bound to kidney cell, it is a soluble antigen in blood, which later gets deposited. That's my understanding. Correct me if I'm wrong..
