As Barry told their instrumentally most complex and difficult song, but it is for sure one of their best jewels and praised as their best tune from Quincy Jones, Benny Andersson (ABBA) & Paul McCartney
Extremely complex track with the layering and on top of that Barry went back in after it was recorded as hemdid with Nights on Broadway and added more falsetto.
I saw on an interview with Barry Gibb and the interviewer blew Barry’s mind he told him …Barry you have written so many songs for the BeeGees and others that in the world every 20 seconds a Barry Gibb song is being played…let that sink in!!!!

I grew up with this great group. I especially love their early music from the 60's-70's. Barry has a great falsetto voice. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
STAN, My favorite Reactor: "Fanny" is up there with some of the most beautiful love songs ever. I was lucky enough to be in the Minneapolis-St. Paul vicinity the day of the Bee Gees Concert, unbeknownst to me. A friend of mine lives down there, and he had an extra ticket. The concert was so good, "live", it sounded just like their recordings. BTW, I recently saw a video of Barry Gibb (of the Bee Gees), and Olivia Newton-John, live singing the classic, "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", the day of Olivia's passing.
My favorite Bee Gees are from the early 70s: "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart," this song, "Jive Talkin'," and "Nights on Broadway." Be sure you catch them all! :)
My fav group… Alone, to love somebody ( 1967) video, Run to Me, Tragedy, if you like a little funk, then check out Love you inside and out, there just soooo many…they wrote over 1,000 songs ( for themselves and other artists), there is a wealth to pick from…1958 through 2003 when Maurice died.
