It's amazing how they switch their voices from a regular voice to a baritone and to falsetto in one song and it has many remarkable layers.

The name Fanny was actually the name of their housekeeper when they were renting a house in Miami.....it was Mo's idea to use her name. She cried her eyes out when they sang the song for her. They are GREAT MEN!!!!

'Best' to describe the Bee Gees is rank hyperbole when The Beatles existed. They were good but not remotely in the same league as the lads from Liverpool.
      Welcome to reality.

Undoubtedly the best singer/songwriters ever. Their sound changed with each decade reflecting the time. All 3 took turns at lead at different times and no song was ever the same as another even though a BeeGees song is immediately identifiable even in the songs they wrote for others.

All three brothers had their own unique falsetto's, could sing baritone from their chest voice, and almost anything in-between!!! IMO, they are the most talented group, & exceptional singers of all time! If you would like to hear more of Maurice with his falsetto, and Barry singing mostly chest voice, check out, Nights on Broadway!!! *They were such a wonderful gift to the music industry & our ears* 💝💝💝

My fav Bee Gee’s song. They never played this song in concert because Barry said it was too complicated to play on stage. The studio recording had many layover tracks. It is an absolute gem. And remember, this way before auto tune was even invented.

Maurice sings leads too: "Man In The Middle", "Closer Than Close", "Wildflower", "Walking On Air", etc. And keep poking around in that rabbit hole, and you're going to find out he, also, has a falsetto ("Nights On Broadway") and sings the highest parts of harmonies. Not to mention he was their musical director, and took active part in writing and, then production. Maurice was a real musical genius...no less so than his brothers. Together they were the very top of the food chain...to this day there is none better.
Love your reactions...please keep up the good work. You talk about the substance of the whole recording including mentioning album interest, a little production insight, and show some knowledge of music, I think it's great that you incorporate a few details into your reactions!😉

What I love about Bee Gees reaction videos is that in almost every song, there is at least one moment where something completely unexpected and or inspired happens, either vocally or musically, that makes the person reacting to get a "what the f--" expression which looks like a combination of surprise and sheer admiration!
I think I counted at least three or four by Pat on this one! ❤
But the most amazing thing is that, even after having heard all Bee Gees songs multiple times in the last 40 years, I STILL GET THOSE EXPRESSIONS MYSELF almost all the time! 🤩

Maurice is criminally underrated. Barry would come up with all the melodies but it was Maurice who would lay down and underline the whole thing with some insane bass lines.
When you listen to their disco era, pay attention to the bass riffs- one of the most underrated bass players of all time.

      Maurice was a consummated
Musician, he could play Classical Music on the piano , he could read music and he was the multitalented and multi instrumentalist member of the group , he was the Composer of many of the songs of the Beegees , he was a genius but he was very humble too , these 3 guys respected and loved each other , Maurice was the genius behind that Master piece that was not disco it sound like Rock but it was hard to dance and that song was “ Nights on Broadway “ , he was underrated but many of us are learning a lot about Maurice that played and sang respecting and loving his 3 brothers , always hiding behind them, he was very honest when he recognized that he was very selfish when he became a serious alcoholic , he was destroying his life and his home, eventually he stopped drinking and he became sober, he remembered that his best glass of hard licor was given to him by John Lennon and with time he almost destroyed himself, but he came back and he was very honest sharing his ups and downs with everybody , Rest in peace Maurice , Robin and Andy and May God keep on protecting and helping the big brother the big Bee Gee , Barry , what an awesome and amazing group these guys where. Ahh the Beegees .

@@haroldsanteliz6153 - A correction....Maurice could NOT read music. None of them could read music and they said so themselves. It was all done by ear. They were self taught. Multi talented and multi instrumentalist yes, but said he could not read or write music. He would just find the right chords. He added the third harmony that made each song perfect. He directed their band on stage. He was also a composer WITH his brothers. Barry and Robin mainly came up with the lyrics and melodies and Mo put them to music but they worked as a team and they said, as if by ESP, they could finish each others' thoughts.

@darkmatter6714 - Barry did NOT come up with all the melodies. In fact, Robin and Maurice often came with their song ideas and they would work together to perfect them. Barry gets WAY too much credit. Maurice was the one who polished off "Immortality" in a matter of minutes. Robin and Maurice wrote an entire LP for Robin without any input from Barry. FYI, the ONLY Bee Gee to have a #1 song in several countries as a solo artist was Robin with "Juliet" written by Robin and Maurice. Robin's last LP "50 St Catherine's Drive" was beautiful and NO input from Barry at all. He also wrote the "Titanic Requiem" orchestral piece played by the National Philharmonic. Barry had nothing to do with that. His solo LP "Robin's Reign" on 1969 had NOTHING to do with Barry either. They also worked on 5 out of 9 songs on the Streisand LP. They contributed to most songs they wrote for other artists (like "Islands in the Stream", "Chain Reaction"). Robin wrote the initial lyrics for "Stayin' Alive on the back of his Concorde ticket after reading the NY Times about violence in NYC. All you have to do is look at the writing credits.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the comments here---there are a lot now!---but I learned once they recorded 16 tracks for this! There are so many layers, they never were able to sing this live.

Careers spanning 50 years, a true favorite, they can all sing falsetto, or whatever, is needed. Catalogue is a monster, all written, sung, produced by the boys, and music written for other artists! Please, react to" Will you still love me Tomorrow.", written by Carol King. I know she said it was the best cover ever, done by the BeeGees, of that song. Enjoy your reaction, and appreciation.

If any song told just how great the Bee Gees actually were, its this song. It's a masterpiece. The base is breathtaking from Maurice. The vocals from Robin and Barry unbeatable. The harmonies silky smooth.
The melody and Lyrics unique. I have a thing about this song. It beats all.
