really great cover man and you got real creative with it too. I liked the guitar mixed with all the synth sounds, and your choice of scenery made it seem real cool too! it's also nice you got to see the cherry blossom trees in bloom they looked really pretty there

Dude, could you PLEASE share how you did the synths? I genuienly get mad I can’t listen to not even the original song because none of them have the crazy synth breakdown this one has, the synth sound is so addicting, I’d really love to know.

Hi there! Glad to hear you like the track! About the synths, those were all done by my bandmate Terrill. He's a real keyboard wizard.
Although I can't fully explain what he did on this track, I know his production style utilizes a mixture of analogue and MIDI synths. He records into Logic Pro X, and he uses some of the built in MIDIs (that's how he gets those fluttering arpeggios) but he then layers them with a Roland JUNO Di, a Korg SV-188 and a Korg Minilogue Silver. He told me that he mostly used the Korg SV-188 on this track specifically.
That's the gear anyway, but as for how he achieves that richly layered sound, that just comes from 14 + years of honing his unique production style. I've always loved the sound of acoustic guitars and synths together in a mix, and him and I have been collaborating and tinkering with that style of production for about 12 years now.
If you like the sound of this track, you might enjoy our album O T H E R S I D E. It's got that densely layered synth sound all over pretty much every track... Cheers!
