- Astribot S1 is AI-powered Humanoid robot assistant currently developing by a Senzhen based subsidiary of Stardust Intelligence.
The robot is speedy and incredibly precise doing everything from opening and pouring wine to gently shaving a cucumber to flipping a sandwich in a frying pan to writing a bit of calligraphy.

I like at the end where it smoothed out the wrinkles in the folded shirt.
flip the pan better than I can.
Everything SHOCKS the industry these days
Honestly these stupid clickbait titles have been around a while, and they're still as annoying then as they are now
@@xkil0wattx752 yea, I didn't even watch the video because of the title. Just came here to comment.
yea those titles are overused on everything.
But this Chinese robot really is shocking how smooth it is. Moves way better than all other robots.
@@ahmadahmal2942 You mean moves it's arms because it looks like that's all it can move.
In a 100 metre robot race this thing would be left in the starting blocks.
@@straighttalk2069 No robot on the market right now has the dexterity of Astribot S1.
COPE dude.
So this is the guy who will brush my teeth and change my diaper in 20 years' time. He looks gentle. We will get along swell.
also the guy that will turn around and hold your family hostage when the switch is flipped by some nefarious 3rd party
Ok basically 90 percent of workers not needed anymore.
I thought some jobs like a plumber or something like this are safe. Now not sure.
This thing is insane
The stated goal of AI/robotics companies is to replace all human labor. No job is safe. It will take a while, but yeah, it's going to happen.
Its going to be a while before theres a bot that has the problem solving abilities of a human.
There are infinite numbers of plumbing nightmares to be repaired....even something simple like an under the sink drain can have so many configurations and variables that simple clear cut solutions are rare.
I just worked on a project that required I pull a bathtub out, cut through the floor and find the leaking pipe. The old tub didnt go back in, a stand up shower did, and it required crawling under a low house, digging a tunnel to get there, rerouting all the water and drain lines, getting into the attic to add a drain vent.
There was a cracked cast iron t joint in the drain that required a wall to be moved, floors to be pulled up, and the sink drain and water lines had to be moved over several inches to fit the new cabinets...that required moving an electric wire, and weaving copper lines around other pipes and studs....simple, but not really.
The week before, I had to cut into a 12' ceiling to find a drain leak that required carpentry skill to move floor joist to reroute a new drain.
Its all cute to see a robot do things when the problem and solution are literally basic demonstrations of how to.....put two pipes together and weld them.
Not needed if owners of company stay fixated on driving revenues high while keeping costs low. Once humans on earth it takes us all to work together to make it a better place, owners will keep humans and accept they still making profit just not as much/ fast but in return your helping by paying someone that helps you make your money. But there will inevitably be those who choose to eliminate human workers to reduce on job injuries, breaks, complaints, drama, lawsuits, etc
I think trades jobs (plumber, electrician, elevator repair person, etc...) will be safe for at least two decades. There are just way too many variables for a robot to handle, plus they still don't have the dexterity that a human has.
@@JJs_playgroundStandardized buildings could be more common if it lowered the cost of repair and the ownership incentives were right
I've been saying it for decades, since I was twelve, robots will end up doing every job on Earth and humans will just collect a check to spend in whatever pursuit they want.
I love the design of this robot, elegant yet technological, and the movements are soo natural
I guess a lot if us will involuntarily retire.
It's fluid movements suggest it is being teleoperated rather than moving independently
This is not Tesla
Not at all, the AI is making paths in advance. Check out 1:48, and how the green dots form.
Robot arms have been capable of fluid motion like that for at least a decade. They're at work in the manufacturing industry, packaging food, constructing and assembling the consumer products we already buy. Taking an interest in the progress over the past 15 years, you'd have ready seen hands enabling them handling eggs, playing chess, and table tennis with a human opponent. Catching objects thrown at them etc. The real progress is their ability to walk and AI. Arm and hand speed fluidity tech is already in place because industry requires it and time is money.
That suggests nothing
Not this time
Would make a good bartender?
Impressively fast and dextrous.
wondering how a handshake would feel with this guy
Impressive dexterity considering it's got only grippers.
I can think of hiring him for groceries scanning and bagging, can stay at one place doing 6:00am to 12:00 am (18 hrs) without break! Probably cheaper than human in the long run! Just need 1 human to monitor 10 robots check out clerks 😂
Company founded in 2022, but their domain has been registered only in March 18, 2024, and their X account in April. No visibile mean of locomotion.
The fake-o-meter is very, very high.
I thought the sam. I believe it first when they show it in public.
Cope harder!
if you want fake s*** go see Tesla robot.
We’ve been programming robotic arms to perform tasks like this for decades.
I’d like to see uncut video of it performing real world tasks that weren’t pre-setup. Chances are we never will.
@@HiThisIsMine Because your brainwashed hate mentality thinks, that chinese and other than the west can't not invent or do better. Chinese have made a large space station . While US can't do a proper space station without the help of other countries like Russia.
If you want fake crap go see US's Tesla robot with their fake CGI presentation.
In fact, the parent company behind this company has been around for a long time
They dont show how long it takes for the robot to respond to the "job" given to it. If this was supposed to be general purpose, you have to know how long it needs to recognize an object and how long it takes to execute the pre-arranged movements
Sounds like an AI bot also did the commentary
Because it did
Whole vid was generated
Amazing and incredible!!
When can I buy one for my kitchen? Seeing one for purchase, now that would be shocking!
People forget, that these things do cost a lot like an expensive car. It's still cheaper to have regular employees. Also someone needs to clean these robots, do repairs when things start to fall apart and so on. All these videos demonstrate the robot under the best cirumstances in clean areas. Now imagine the robot do cooking something with oil and a lot steam. It would make sense to use that robot at home if it could clean itself.
The prices for robots are already falling since 2022 heavily. There is already a chinese cheap robot.
Bro, this bot is legit superfast. Definitely going to best all other bots in the tasks!!!
No it wont. You havent seen what the big companies are doing.
@@av2245 have seen them. Figure 1, Tesla bot but none comes close to even half the dexterity of this dog. It's pretty fast
I hope one day they can all meet each other in...ehh...robot. It would be great to see them recognize each other from TH-cam videos. I wonder if they will high-5 each other 😎
Bring it on, if the price drops to about $6000 and it can move around pretty well I'm buying one. Cheap live at home maid.
*Belle amélioration avec ce robot.*
China is fast.
This is téléopérated right?
Sorry, this is not Tesla
Have them assemble various furniture from Ikea as a test of dexterity, understanding and frustration management.
It's a great product if you not replacing humans totally
it is a useful robot that can assist everyone in the home.
This one clearly doesn't have a body or legs... yet. It won't be long until it's common for humanoid robots to move as well as the average human, and then shortly after they will all move better than the average human. And then they'll give it a gun.
Pull a tablecloth out from under a stack of wine glass!!! What in tarnation?
I think what they want to demonstrate with this demo is that their robotic arm can achieve very high end-effector acceleration, which is something that previous humanoid robots typically couldn't accomplish, often due to cost factors and weight issues
This robot perfectly matches the characteristics I envision for a humanoid robot. It has a fast end-effector speed, typically carries light loads, and lacks unnecessary legs. This is the true form of a humanoid robot that could potentially be used in industrial fields.
This Chinese made Astribot S1 just took it to a whole new level!
Took a big 💩on the other robot companies.

@@Redcloudsrocks cope dude i know its hard for you to accept reality but you can do it! COPE!!!

Very good for food stall , I'm buying to put at burger 🍔 stall
Lawsuit coming from their former employer LMAO.
Now that's what I would call an Asianoid Robot
All want funds from the military. That's why the superrace on robots and AI. The country with that developed has a big power.
They probably spend gazillions on this prototype. And then when it comes to the time to mass produce, they will use cheap lousy materials instead and the robot will break down almost immediately
If they do that, how to sell in sufficient quantities to recoup their investment and make a profit. Your opinion makes no business sense.
Loke modern smartphones do 😂
This robot can execute…movements, yeah, that’s what she meant. Not humans, of course, just movements.
I want one.
Skynet welcome
They should have named it istribot.
Its incredibly helpful and success project!
But still that wasn't attached people feeling enough.
I mean what if they having smaller hand And not just 2 hands, and add more than 1 or 2 sensor.
The limit of possiblity is more than this in the next generation.
People as mother or doctor not only doing just one thing at a time, they can doing laundry or do the Dishwashing at the same time. No big deal by two hands.
The doctor Can check the sickness of the people more than one person at the time if they are just in simple case of disease.
So it's mean, If they need more professional stage as a house keeper or stock Holder they're should be provided more than just one hands or just one brain to make it work.
What if a rougue AI embedded to this robot?
Pretty cool stuff, I want to see it replace fast food kitchen workers so I don’t have to worry about people spitting in my food or did that guy wash after using the restroom. With the increase of wages I think my wish may not be far away. No worker injury claims, lost sick days. No pay raises. Less book keeping, no health insurance or overtime pay considerations. Just a couple spare androids in case one fails. One or two people to run a McDonald’s….. everything else is going to be automated….. I hope, I prefer not to deal with people.
Are there any plans as to the upcoming mass unemployment?
Revolution, comrade
Universal income.

Impressive but it's too slow
Like the first car it will improve over time.
Do you know how easy it probably would be to train one of these to hurt or kill a person? And my money is on the fact they won't have any safeguards to prevent it, or they'll be easy to circumvent.
It'll tell the investigators who it was that trained it, if memory data's still in place. Robots never lie.
@@mikeomolt4485That's silly of you to assume that no one can do that anonymously.

I bet each activity took multiple attempts the video is extremely edited.

The fact it's stationary implies it can't walk or move very well so way behind the competition.

When you replace human workers with robots, who will buy your products, since people are unemployed with no money?
The $ trillionaire owners will be forced to implement a universal income plan, otherwise the masses will lynch them.
Well, ur overlord AI? Ever thought that the only products that will be produced if AGI is here are products this specific AGI wants?^^ U can live on eating bugs like a cheap drone and work ur ass off for some tasty bugs. Maybe it needs new batteries or new robots or it needs u to slave away in a sweat shop where u produce machine parts or it needs u to do experiments on. I bet AGI will be a great employer and leader
